The shop itself is generally fine (although expensive), but the Evri return service is a persistent issue. I've tried to use it multiple times over the past year, and every time I'm told it's 'currently not working.' It would be helpful if the store updated their status on Evri to reflect this, so customers don't waste their time.

My wife came this evening to drop a large parcel using their Evri service. I repeat - It was a large box. The cashier called security and asked whether he could take it given the size. Didn?t you have any choice said the security guard with a mouthful of what looked like paan to my wife ? Meanwhile my wife is trying to balance the box on the counter because of its weight. Don?t push it through the hole
Says the not helpful security guard. I?m not says my wife it?s heavy and I?m trying to balance it. Neither took the hint.
Needless to say a horrid experience.
Tesco don?t take on a service if you can?t handle it. And try better customer survive next time. Preferably without breathing pain in my wife?s face!!!!

I went to collect a parcel at 10.45pm and was turned away because the staff couldn?t be bothered to fetch it. Terrible service. I will be complaining to Evri and won?t be getting anything delivered here again

There?s always, always homeless people outside asking you for money and cigarettes which is frustrating but I guess not Tesco?s fault. Open late which is super convenient if you want affordable goodies after a night out in Leicester. Can get super busy at times!

WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICEI'm a regular customer at this specific store. Initially card machine declined my payment and person on counter shouted at me like I am some thief or I have stolen something from their store. I tried few times but machine declined several times. It worked on another machine and I just informed them one of the self service counters are not working and if they can have a look at it.That person, rudely gave me look and no response and asked another person to be come forward. I again told him and he didn't even look at me. I went to another team member and informed about the situation he also just walked away..WOEST STAFF AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.I don't know if they even have any manager.

I do grocery shopping here all time, it is a normal Tesco at it best. Nothing bad or special about it. But today, I just needed to shout out to Muhammed for sorting out my missed club card saving which otherwise I would have lost £7 as I was day dreaming and forgot to tell the cashier guy that I got the clubcard which he also did not ask. (It would be appreciated if he at least try to ask his colleague or manager than acting that it could not be helped just because it is not his money). I would have lost £7 if I hadn?t find any courage to walk back in the store and asked someone else who seems to be more experienced.

It's nice and tidy inside, and you do get some basic items within the store! Good customer service. One can do basic shopping under one roof. If you are staying nearby, this store helps. For more variety, can visit the superstore.
