We had previously been for an eye test at another optician in beaumont leys and were left confused and underwhelmed amd just feeling like we had listened to a sales pitch. We went in to look at some glasses style and spoke to byrony. We explained we were just looking and she went above and beyond. She helped us realise the previous eye test had missed a distance issue and we couldn't believe the difference when redoing the eye test. We eneded up buying with specsavers due to the no pressure, informative and helpfulness of the whole team. We would not hesitate to recommend.

very friendly welcoming staff. nice clean store. my optician was very thorough, explained ever step of the test and also explained possible causes for vision change. easy to understand the consultation and very professional too. also had helpful advice on which frames suited my face better. no long waiting times either. fantastic store would absolutely recommend to anybody.

Really poor service. Couldn't honour an appointment which was booked well in advance. Complete waste of time.

Disappointing service. I had an appointment early morning on a Sunday and waited over 20 minutes. After checking with staff how much longer I have to wait they said that particular staff member has not arrived yet and not sure when they will come. I wasted my time and energy to make it on a weekend for absolutely nothing. Did not even get an apology. I also booked this appointment weeks in advance. What kind of staff does not come to work on time or atleast notify the team to get the customer know. We have other things we do. Never going back for the same reason again. This was for contact lens and other people seems to have the same issue not just me. Clearly haven?t made any changes. If anyone wants contact lenses please go elsewhere these people just waste your time.

I had a very positive experience at Spacesaver. The staff welcomed me with a friendly smile, booked me in, and clearly explained what to expect during the eye test, including the costs involved. After a short wait, it was my turn, and the optician conducted a thorough eye test, explaining each part of the process and going over my results in detail. Following that, another team member took my eye measurements to help select the right glasses and frames. I was impressed with the affordable pricing for everything, which is a great value. The only downside was the waiting time?I had a 1 p.m. appointment and ended up leaving around 2 p.m., so I spent about an hour there. Overall, though, I'd highly recommend Spacesaver for their professional and friendly service.

I was worried about an eye problem I have, however from the minute I set foot in the premises everyone was so kind and attentive.
As it was not just an eye test but a thorough examination, a lot of the questionnaire mentions lens choice etc. in this case it was N/A. Everything else was amazing. Thank you to all the staff I saw that day.
I can't recommend them enough.
