Had a reshuffle of all the shelves and now they?ve got rid of own brand stock-cupboard things. No more own-brand earl grey teabags. No more own-brand cheap ibuprofen. No more udon noodles. Limited toilet roll range. Tiny range of red wines now. Few soaps and toiletries. You can get loads of ready meals and sweets. They?ve basically got rid of all the stuff you stock up on and replaced it with stuff you buy a week at a time. Rubbish.
Also worth checking your receipt. Yellow labels often aren?t scanned. Wines are often ticketed early meaning you think you?re paying seven quid and it?s still a tenner because they change the price tags early. It?s all a bit weird.
All that said, staff are very friendly and polite and it?s convenient. But it?s gone massively downhill as of a couple of months ago.

The staff was so rude to my 12 years old son because he has his bike with him,the indian sales assistant that way I only described him he started argued with me and my son,very bad manner really don't know how Sainsburys hired him and he got this job,he can tell my son politely then is no problem,here he behave like he owns Sainsburys,I can give 0 star to this,never again

always take your i'd when you going to buy something like alcohol. if you are going with someone and they should need i'd of your friend ? my wife had buy icecream and i buy some beer-they need i'd both of us. if you are showing i'd in your phone they need physical i'd . they behave rude. The staff is really really RUDE

The staff was so rude and doesn?t behave with good manners they all were talking and laughing in earphones together and didn?t helped us at all even after asking later me and my husband went for shopping. He bought the BEER for himself and at the till, the staff asked the ID?s of our both but my husband showed him his ID but she asked I need for both. Totally rude and don?t visit the store because staff is really bad

Staff in this Saintsbury is very rude.They are comparing our home country.Yes i know this is not india but the staff don't know that we Indian's respect peopleWe have some ethics but you people don't have any and you are using bad words to people it's not fair brother .I don't know his name actually he's been working on morning shift on sunday ..Why did he mention india ......What a shame......

I just had a bad experience in this store (today 4January2023) that I regularly visit. The sales assistant is a tall Fair guy wore a round hat, (only way I can describe him as I didn?t notice his name, will do next time I see him, will write here again) I bought 2 M&M peanut of 220grams. When I went to bill it at the counter he first took the 2 packs of M&M and smacked it hard on the counter, I was kind throughout, I asked him will it not break? He says ?no no it is strong, aren?t you strong?? I left the store in innocently. Returned after 10mins after I realised what I had just faced, I dunno what the guy?s intention was. I went back and exchanged the M&M, when I had to face the same sales assistant again, this time even after knowing I was first in line, he started billing for a customer behind me. This is outrageous, I mean what kind of people does Sainsbury?s hire?Please look into this right away. Check for Invoice time 19:57.Transaction ID- 22447559602. Amt: £16.84.I will write back here again.I am new to the country and never had such experience before. Heard from a friend the store has a manager or escalation team, will try to find out.
