Visited Primark today and was really disappointed with the experience. I ended up waiting in a queue for ages just to get into the store. Once inside, it was super busy and hard to browse through the clothes. The checkout lines were also pretty long. Overall, wasn't worth the wait for the crowds and chaos. Might be better to go on a less busy day

I saw someone steal something from the shelf and tuck it under their coat and then walk very fast to the nearest exit. But as they walked towards the exit I quickly spoke to one of the security guards and told him that he has just stolen something. Surprisingly the security guards didn't even seem too bothered, they looked in the direction towards him and then they just stood there like a dummy. I said to the security guard 'well aren't you going to do something about it?' They didn't even reply. You call that security. I wouldn't be surprised if the thief and the security guards have some kind of connection in this store for letting them get away with this.

I had a really frustrating experience at Primark. We spent around an hour choosing clothes and items for the children, and when we finally went to the cashier, I paid £50 using a gift card first, then tried to pay the remaining balance with my bank card.
But after scanning the gift card, the system froze when I attempted to pay by card. Instead of helping, the staff told me to call customer service ? even though they were right in front of me. It honestly felt like they just wanted to get rid of me rather than find a solution.
At one point, they even suggested I pay the full amount by card and that the gift card would be refunded later. That made no sense ? I bought the gift card specifically to use in-store, not to go through a refund process.
There was no real effort to fix the issue, no alternative offered, and no proper customer service. I left feeling really disappointed after what should have been a simple shopping trip.
Primark needs to train staff to actually help customers in situations like this.
It made sure that I will never shop here.

They have replaced almost all counters with self check out that accept cards and cards only, and the result is to have long queues of people waiting to pay with cash at 2-3 counters. The cashiers are so slow, they do not even hear what you say to them. I used to like shopping at primark. Year in year out and the experience is getting more and more tiring. Time to switch to something else..

Good points: Primark offers great ranges at affordable prices. Bad parts: now they've self-service tills, where the staff have to facilitate you (feeling like a criminal!) is very bad and off putting!

Such a shameful service from manager Vandhana , I went there with my wife for doing some trial for her and I requested her to go along with my wife as she was having severe back pain and it was hard for her to lift her hands so I could help her.
The fact that I didn?t go or expected from the women only fitting room as I respect everyone?s privacy, so we went the first floor one where it is for all genders. Despite of being very kind, she made me wait outside and my wife had to suffer all that pain and in between my wife had to come outside every time to see if it fits as it was my present.
But, she didn?t let me go in and asked me to stand outside the fitting room.
How terrible that is to be like a security guard for their Fitting room while other women passing through.
It could?ve been a lot better if she could let me in so its more comfortable for both of us and even for other customers as they also feel uncomfortable to come outside and show their partners while others standing around.

Don't bother coming here if you use cash. They have turned all but three into card only. The average waiting time is 20 minutes to get served. Hopeless! Wont be back
