We booked here based on the lovely reviews online, and were pretty disappointed.
Its a beautiful place and the waiting staff was absolutely lovely, but they had to confirm our order 3 times. During a visit to the toilet I also heard the waiter having to re confirm our order- at a point where it should have been nearly made.
We got our mains after an hour, and it was all below average to be honest. This was all on a weekday where there was only one other table.

I booked a date night for myself and my partner here. I was a bit nervous because I had never been before and had no idea what the food would be like. On arrival, the friendly waiter greeted us and checked us in. He walked us over to our table which was at the back of the restaurant in a very nice, quiet corner. The restaurant was very nice inside and I loved the ambience. It was a Monday night and the restaurant wasn?t very busy. We had a waitress come and take our order for drinks and meal. She was very friendly and tentative. We ordered a three course meal with drinks. We didn?t have to wait too long for our meal. The chef added his own touch by bringing our starter out on one large plate so me and my partner could ?share?. I thought this was very cute! When we had finished one course, it wasn?t long before the next course came out. The waiter who greeted us came over every now and then to check we were ok and ask if we needed anything. All three courses of our meal were exceptionally presented and tasty. All in all, both myself and my partner loved our experience here and we would definitely recommend to anyone.

Food wasn?t that special maybe for someone who has microwave meals might be over the moon with it I had million times better Italian food ! Waited ages for food / homeless guy running in / tables where squished together felt no privacy literally not worth the money better off getting a kebab around the corner or maccies ?

Food was great, but it took over 40 mins for the meal (salad) to arrive. The waiter was very helpful and friendly, but it was far too long a wait for food. There was only one other party of 5 in the entire restaurant and it still took that long to make a salad !

Went here for the first time. It's a full halal menu and no alcohol in dishes but they do have a bar area that does serve alcohol. The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely amazing. They even catered for children and made the main dish child size. There is a service charge of 10% but this was acceptable based on the quality of food and service given. Would definitely go here again.

10/10 food amazing service kind workers worth every penny......just AMAZING best spaghetti bolognese ? I was flabagastid - from the two little ones ( aged 8 and 10) and loved it from the grandparents

Easily one of the best restaurants in the city centre.
Edit : Unfortunately after their remodeling and rebranding things have gone downhill. The new menu is lacking flavor and technique and the caliber of service you receive we found to be extremely lacking compared to when we had gone before when it was Prana. I'm unsure if they lost the Chef that had been there previously but, as a classically trained chef myself I have not had one dish here since they're reopening I feel is ready to be offered to the public. It was also disheartening to see ingredients listed on the menu were nowhere to be found in the dish once it arrived at the table.
From a service standpoint, we were the only table when we arrived, and when we placed our orders and it still took over 15min for a mocktail to be made and brought to our table. I also feel that if you are unable to pronounce the names of the dishes and wines you're offering you aren't ready to be on the floor serving clients.
Maybe in a few months we'll try again but my last visit left me with nothing but the taste of disappointment.

Came here about a week ago. Nothing special at all. I?ve had much better Italian food at other places. There were things on the menu describing dishes that were not present in the actual dish. Drinks were bad. Kitchen not accommodating. Don?t waste your time.

Absolutely loved our meal at La Fontana!The BBQ chicken pizza was delicious and full of flavor, and the pasta was fresh and delicious. the mocktail and cocktail were spot on. super refreshing and well balanced Big thanks to the amazing staff everyone was friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to the manager Russ for making sure everything was perfect. Can?t wait to come back!

We visited this wonderful restaurant for a special meal out with our 7-year-old twin girls, and it couldn?t have been better. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and the place itself is absolutely beautiful.
The staff are truly outstanding.
Mukesh is a legend?his attention to detail and the care he shows make him a real asset to the team.
Cameron (apologies if I?ve misspelled your name) was also fantastic, she also made sure everything was just right throughout our meal.
What really stood out was how both Mukesh and Cameron engaged with our girls?checking that they were happy with their food choices, how their pizza tasted, and just generally making them feel special and looked after. Thank you guys for this.
The food was incredible?so fresh, packed with amazing flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was spot on.
The chef even came out after the meal to ask how it was and if we were satisfied etc.
Whether you?re looking for a place to enjoy a casual drink, a family meal, or something more formal, this place ticks every box. We?re already looking forward to our next visit!
