Manjit went above and beyond today when I came in and told her I couldn?t find the tracking number on my post office receipt as I only had a photo of one side of it. She was professional, kind and extremely helpful when I was stressed as I had returned an expensive Christmas present which the company had told me had gone missing. A genuinely lovely and hard working member of staff. Thank you so much Manjit

I went there 0 star. A lady kept moving up and down. Only two counters open. Please stay at your desk. Please don?t move. They have removed 8 staff. One lady staff looked Senior was not interested. Soon you will have no staff. Very rude. She was not pleasant at all. Being fast does not look good. I asked for airmail sticker. She says ok. If you haven?t got it , please say so. They refuse to process any post at the counter. You are forced to use self service machines but when I got there at 9.15 the machines were still loading up and the 2 cashiers at the counters hadn't opened yet and were still counting money and loading their computers. It opens at 9am and services should run from 9am. If you need time to set up for the day then staff need to come in earlier. 12 people in the queue at 9.15 and not 1 had started to be seen. This happens nearly everyday and when asked they make up excuses. Ridiculous

Truly the worst customer service ever!! I came in at 2:47pm today (02/07/23) to post a parcel. The woman and man at the counter saw me preparing a parcel with extreme urgency. I bring the parcel to them at 2:56 and they say the system has been closed and can?t open after a set time. For one, the closing time is 3. I know for sure that employees are not to close their systems early. Also, why was there no notification at the door that they weren?t allowing anymore customers? Do I look like a fool to waste my time only to be told ?come back tomorrow? like I have as much free time as them? This store represents the Post Office and WHSmith brand beautifully. Don?t come here guys. You?ll just see employees walking around pretending to do something and a disorderly/dysfunctional management system.

It's quite shocking the pace that one male member works. You can tell the whole que of people were thinking the same by the facial expressions. Working at the pace of a tortoise on a busy saturday afternoon with a que of 10+ people in the city centre. Post office is also understaffed. Worst one I've been to.

The post office is located on the lower ground floor. Take a lift or an escalator to go down.Staff: there were 2 ladies wearing scarves , who were very helpful and attentive and guided me very well. However, one of them goes by the name Rachel is a little too fast paced in dealing so I hope the management makes sure the customers are being attended to properly. Good Communication is a key to a returning customer yeah?There are self service machines with staff that guide you and help you complete the posting.Tip: buy the envelopes elsewhere such as b&m for a cheaper price and better quality since they are very expensive in this store. Try to buy peel and seal envelopes. 99p for a single letter sized envelope, seriously?

God they are just useless. Old woman watched me que for 10 mins, then tells me she cant process any post at the counter (You what?) and I have to use self service, after I'm done I then have to wait for her to finish serving to collect the parcels from me. What an absurdly stupid system or employee, or both. Both post offices in Leicester town centre are just comically awful.

I wanted to thank one worker who was working on 4th Feb at the currency exchange till for making sure I input the correct address!! Without her I would've sent my letter with a wrong address, thank you...

The customer service system really needs to be changed/improved.I have tried to call the office to ask a question about a parcel that I need to send, and after 2 whole minutes of waiting for someone to pick up, they hung up on me.Lazy and useless.
