Worst customer service ever , due to worst weather and traffic near round about I was stuck over 15 mins , called them before to notify I will be late- I understand the fact that vets are busy they cannot spare time and late appointments are not allowed but they could have easily swapped someone else appointment after mine and I should have waited longer on for mine , my appointment was 3:45 and I reached there at 3:52 , they treated me rudely and harshly . There had been options if they wanted to . Don?t recommend this place at all !! Worst customer experience . Plus they don?t even keep record of flea medication correctly , I had mine delayed pick up as I already had enough for that month and I forget on the desk a week ago , when I told them on call they said it?s fine to pick up next week and when I asked she said it would charge me it took me a lot of reasoning to explain and than she just gave it away like I am crying for free meds and also was not really cooperative with cancelling of membership! So if you are looking for a good service for your pets and if they are look after well just don?t register at this place .

Came to pets at home today and brought 2 guinea pigs the worker there Scott could not do enough for us. From the get go he was amazing walked into the store and straight away he greeted us in a very happy way and helped us with anything we needed gave us some really good advice and made our trip very successful and enjoyable I've been to other stores before and never received this type of customer service like we did from Scott

Amy is phenomenal! I was so lucky to come across her by accident when I stepped into the store last December. She gave me excellent advice on caring for my newly adopted Ragdoll cat and also advised a certain pet insurance company. I debated the insurance but got it soon afterwards, and now I'm so thankful I did, because I've ended up really needing it over the last few months. A really brilliant member of staff who's very knowledgeable about the breed and very down to earth/friendly! Five stars from me and Tommy the cat ????

I was in store today and a very inconsiderate and rude grown man was allowing his 5-6 kids to play around with squeaky toys to the point where not a single thing could be heard in store. Myself and many other customers were frustrated and a poor customer at the till who could barely speak English couldn?t understand the lady at the till who was giving advice. Luckily the lady at the till (tall, black headband) confronted the man. I only feel the need to write this review as my son has autism and sensory overload so the noises were triggering him a lot. A massive thank you to the lady for standing up for everyone!

I wouldn?t even give it 1 star! Very disgusted with how staff are treating customers in St George?s retail Leicester. Told them I?d be 5-10 minutes late and the receptionist was like okay come and when I got there she was like in a harsh tone, I told you I?m cancelling your appointment and you still wanted to come. So disappointed in how Jane and Abbey treated me today. They don?t value customers and they have manners. Wouldn?t recommend going here.

Great store to shop around.. certainly come again as no doubt. Fantastic staff who are kind enough to help and provide rights information, which is useful to any customers who have pets..

Staff there were fantastically helpful and pleasant. I have a disability, so couldn't lift the item I was there to buy, (I usually have it delivered, but the courier 'lost' 30kg of dog food!) so a staff member took the bag from the shelf to the till, and put it in my trolley for me ?
I wasn't even made to feel embarrassed when my payment wouldn't go through, 3 times! Now that's great customer service ?

I am not the one for reviews, but today I was actually amazed. Whoever the manager is at this store is very lucky to have you guys. First of all I was greeted on two occasions by one lady working downstairs behind the counter. I don't know her name but when you walk into any store you don't receive that, that often for such a big commercialised company. I only really see this in small run companies.
Secondly the receptionist (not sure if she is a receptionist) but she works upstairs next to the grooming and emergency area on the computers. She was very helpful and knew the answer to every single question she was asked, not only by me but by every visitor and she also made you feel welcomed.
Thirdly, ross the vet who even though didn't have a lot of time on his hands, he didn't make me feel rushed on an emergency visit I had to do for my mums rabbit. His answers were in such high detail where recommendations were given to make sure our rabbit can go on to live a healthy happy life. The team helped Leo in a dental surgery where he would have probably been in a very bad state if the team at PetsAtHome did not help us today. I am not writing this because they helped the rabbit but I think this team goes way above their pay and take actual pride into their work to deliver a great customer service. Thank you very much for today all.

Vets are very good, as always, but reception staff are not as helpful as they have been in the past. The location is good, as it's easy to get to, and has ample free parking. Opening hours are restrictive: no evening/weekend appointments

Unfair Policy & Poor Communication
I had a very disappointing experience with VetsforPets. I was only 15 minutes late for my appointment, and they refused to see my pet unless I paid another deposit without ever informing me that lateness would result in losing my original deposit. There was no prior communication about this policy, and I have proof to confirm that.
To make matters worse, I had to pay for Uber Pet twice, which was a completely unnecessary expense due to their lack of transparency. A little flexibility and proper customer service would have gone a long way. I wouldn?t recommend them to anyone who values clear communication and fairness.
