I tried to exchange my daughters change from her money box into notes (normally we just pay it into her account but she wanted to spend it).. I was told I would have to pay it into her account and then draw it out.. she has an ISA so we couldn't do that, she then just refused to change it for me. I thought this was a bank?! It's also apparently impossible to change your home address with this bank. I have been trying for over 3 years now and my daughters statements and communications are still going to my old address. After finding out today that it still hasn't changed I attempted to get it changed again. I was then told she can't accept my driving license as identification because its got my new address, I then gave her identification with my old address and she said she can't accept that because it's my old address and she asked for my passport. Obviously that's not something I just walk around with. So she just sat there scrolling and clicking and not saying anything. After being in there for quite a while and just feeling like she's stalling and wasting my time and not actually doing anything, I asked for her name and the number of head office. Another while of scrolling and clicking and her telling me \\\"sorry there's alot of numbers to chose from\\\", I just asked for her name and ill find the number online myself. I will be looking for a new bank tomorrow..\\nEdit: (reply to the response) .. I do not have an adult account with you, just my daughters junior ISA, hence why I said we couldn't pay it in to draw it out. I think a bank refusing to exchange change into notes is actually appalling and a procedure that needs to be assessed.\\nAnd thank you for telling me how to change my address. As I said, I have been trying to change the address for my daughters account which doesn't include mobile or online banking and I have tried numerous of times in branch. The most recent time due to my driving license not being accepted as a valid form of identification.\\nI'm confused how I am able to change my address over the telephone with no visible Identification, but I am unable to change it in branch with multiple pieces of identification? Maybe your staff in the branches need to be retrained on updating customers addresses, as it has now been multiple members of staff that have failed to complete this simple task.

Such a delightful experience today. I've come across an employee named Jyoti who provided remarkably swift help. All the works got done in few minutes. I found the staff polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Keep it up Nationwide!

I visited this branch a few times since moving to Leicester and I've always received some level of good customer service. However yesterday I came into the branch with a few questions and was served by a young gentleman named Krish. He made me feel at ease and all my question were answered. Great customer service.

I visit the place on an infrequent basis however I did have dealings there this week. Suggest you visit off peak times or you find the queues are quite long. I have never has any complaints with the service the staff have always been friendly and helpful as I found when I visited yesterday.

I noticed an old account with Nationwide and you can only close an account online or in person. I dropped in expecting the account closure to be a nightmare.
