Booked a couple of holidays through these cannot fault them

I went into Blaby office at the beginning of March to book big birthday treat for myself. I was greeted by the assistant manager who took details of my trip. She requested that I email her a quote of what I have already received so she would get an idea of what I am looking to do on my trip and also to see if she can better the quote I had received. I had advised her they were local to me I would be comfortable booking it through an office rather online.She advised that she would definately try and beat the quote for me. I explained did not have problem with the price as the focus was on a memorable holiday as it was my big 50. I had an email from her later on that day advising me that she has had a quote £1000 less than the one I provided and she will call me the following day to discuss further. No call the following day just an advising she is still waiting for quotes she will be off that weekend but will keep an eye on her email. Of course I did not expect to hear from her at the weekend especially on her day off.I waited all day on Monday for a call but instead received an email 3 days later to say still awaiting from some other vendors, however like to like holiday was going to be more expensive and the company that I had a quote from previously had no protection. She also asked me if I wanted to do all the excursions, unsure why that question? I would have expected at least 1 call from the agent to discuss the excursions and the quotes that she had especially when I was spending nearly 10K on the holiday.The company I booked it with really understood my needs and called me to discuss everything every step of the way.I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Millington Travel in Blaby :(
