I?m a regular visitor to the store and I?d like to point out the excellent customer service I get from Cainen. He always makes sure that customers are served in a fast and orderly pattern and is always quick to help me and other customers.
He carried the same positive attitude to the Lidl branch on Loughborough road. I would say that Lidl has many repeat customers because of him.

Lovely store with plenty of parking that has enough space to get in and out of the car. However, not enough staff on tills and around the store.

I come to this Lidl quite regularly. Most of the time everything goes smoothly. However I?ve seen instances of customers being incredibly rude to staff and other customers. Today I saw a man shouting at a self-checkout worker because he was asked for his ID to purchase alcohol. A few weeks ago another customer was quite rude to me after I accidentally bumped into her trolley when leaving the store.I immediately apologised to her but she didn?t acknowledge it and gave me a dirty look. People need to understand that Lidl workers do not get paid enough to be dealing with rude entitled customers. I understand Lidl isn?t responsible for who comes into the shop and how they behave but it does happen quite often and has made me consider coming here less even though I do live quite close.

I went into to Lidl and was asking about the Lidl + app and Sam the manager came out and asked me why I was talking to the staff at this busy time. I explained to him that I was asking about the app and he asked me how I know about it even though I was asking about it. He told me not to raise my voice even though he knows we customers pay his wages. I walked out and I want u to look into this kind of treatment we get at your Gypsy lane leicester store.
Please look into this matter cos u as a company will lose customers with this attitude from staff. It is the worst attitude from staff and manager I have ever had in all my shopping life.

Been there done that. A big standard Lidl with ever growing prices (as one would expect in post COVID England). Definitely busier than before as Lidl definitely has some own brand stuff that is cheaper than the average supermarket chain. I have yet to find a better priced bakery and sometimes the middle of Lidl has some good offers on tools. Will definitely keep an eye out for post holiday sales and so forth.

I would not recommend visiting this Lidl store due to the unprofessional customer service I experienced from the shift manager ?Spencer? . He displayed an aggressive attitude and was unwilling to listen to my request. When I politely asked for a reprint of my receipt at the self-checkout, he declined to assist and simply directed me to take my complaint to head office.

Every time i visit this store, Jankhna brightens my day, always has a smile on her face and greets us, is friendly and helpful, and always knows where everything is. A credit to the store.
