Without any exaggeration, this is the best cafe you can fibg in Leicester.
I love the atmosphere, I love their food, especially their pancakes, and I really like their professional friendly staff.
I have been there twice and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cozy and warm cafe.

Food is really good, would highly recommend. My only issue is that it takes a while for them to take ur orders and for the food to arrive. It is a bit pricey aswell so bare that in mind.But other than that its pretty good.

Best breakfast in Leicester by far.
Wonderful pancakes and eggs with hollandaise sauce.
Eating is 10-15 pounds each.

Disappointed Visit to Kai
Went to Kai today with the family, looking forward to some delicious pancakes and French toast ? unfortunately, we left feeling quite let down. Both the pancakes and French toast were dry and bland, definitely below average and not what we were expecting. The service didn?t help either; the staff seemed uninterested and low on energy, as if they were just waiting for the shift to end.
On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant and the place itself had a nice vibe, but sadly the food and service just didn?t match up.

After a long wait for food on a busy bank holiday Monday, when it arrived it looked amazing!
Me and my family started tucking in, only to have the waitress come over when I had a mouthful with the card machine asking me to pay. Very annoying, take payment before or after, not whilst someone has just started eating! So rude
Food was delicious despite this annoyance.

Visited Kai in Leicester and really enjoyed it. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good ? fresh ingredients and great flavour combos. We waited around 10 minutes which was perfectly reasonable. The place had a nice atmosphere too. Definitely worth checking out if you're after a quality brunch spot.
