“I have many issues with my health but I'm a 50 year old + ! And also on the autism spectrum and have a son at home also autisic.. my son usually shy even though not working with him he was well impressed how she approached him coming in and cought us both of guard! He said are home will be nice to invite friends in again! First time the manager came in the way things went was well! They brought my support worker/carer no uniform has requested and they started my first 3 hours. I helped clean we had a chat went shopping I am well impressed even taught the support worker how to use my car. I am well impressed with bluebird care and hope the can help me has long has they allowed. Deffently would not change them. And they pritty much just started. I would recommend this service to people who have health and or autism ?”

“My 85 year mother who has limited mobility and various health conditions recently attended the taster day care session that has just opened in Evington Village in Leicester. Mum has never attended a day centre for the elderly before and was a little apprehensive, however she enjoyed the activities and interaction with the staff/attendees.Very early days but I was advised they have several activities in course of the a day which will suit everyone regardless of their mobility and health needs. I was also a little apprehensive however I found the staff to be very professional and caring which was important to our family. The premises/environment was clean and safe. Bathroom facilities and main area/kitchens were also of a good standard and clean. In particular I would like to mention that my/mums interaction with Baljit Singh & Amandeep Kaur was excellent they have a very welcoming/caring yet professional demeanor. The experience was excellent and as such mum wants to continue attending a couple of days a week which is enough reassurance for me. Thank you to all the staff. Keep up the excellent work Leicester team.”

“I am so grateful to this care company for their care and support of my mum. Helpful Home Care Ltd. always respond to messages very quickly, email, text or phone. When I first contacted them, they were able to set up care the day after (not without considerable juggling of their busy rotas - but that wasn't made my problem as I felt with other companies). You absolutely need help asap when care is required suddenly; (I was quoted 4-6 weeks notice by other branded companies).The helpful home care staff have been brilliant, my mum loves them. She says they are very caring, friendly, listen well to what she needs and have discretion. As a private person discretion means a lot to mum.As I'm not well enough to travel and see mum, knowing she's had a great care team visiting daily has meant the world to me and offered great peace of mind. The care is the most important factor but it's worth noting that their prices are very reasonable compared to non-locally based companies.Our only wish is that helpful home care could travel to where mum will be moving; alas (for us) they are based in Oadby and work solely for the Oadby and Wigston community, which is actually another bonus in terms of their local knowledge if you live there.I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one.”

“The Seven Steps team looked after my elderly father in the last few weeks of his life, after he was discharged from hospital, and I can't praise them highly enough.My dad was released from hospital in mid-March, having been admitted for a severe chest infection. During his stay in Peterborough hospital he had sustained a fracture from a fall. His needs were assessed by Victor and his colleagues, and a plan was put into place.The care Dennis received from the outset was absolutely outstanding. He had a number of 30-min visits each day from various care team members, all of whom carried out their duties with sensitivity, cheerfulness and good humour. They were almost always prompt in their arrival, but would call if they were running late. My dad had been suffering from Dementia for a year or so before these events, and as such was sometimes in the grips of confusion when the team visited, which could occasionally escalate into tetchiness. They took this in their stride, and carried on with patience and good nature. My dad eventually looked forward to the visits, and enjoyed the banter!The duties the team carried out were mostly in the line of personal care and hygiene - my father was bed-bound at this point - and the standard of the work was excellent, but the visits themselves served to inject a bit of life into his otherwise quite mundane days!My dad had reached the very fine age of 92 when he passed away last month, and there are really no words to express my gratitude for the wonderful care, good humour and dedication I saw in the acts of the marvellous group of women who looked after him. Dennis was a very generous, selfless man, and it was a fitting finish that in the final furlong of his life he experienced the same selflessness.Thank you Seven Steps, for all you did for my dad.K Hagan”
