Today, the Diwali lights illuminated the Golden Mile in Leicester, creating an absolutely stunning experience. The event featured a free fireworks display, live music, entertainment, delicious food, and captivating dance performances. Approximately 10,000 people on the Golden Mile savored every moment. Great place for shopping, eating or just window shopping. Try a different cuisine of food or buy a new outfit. Parking can be difficult as no real council run car parks in this area but you should find somewhere on the back streets if needed.

Golden mile has Gujarati (& Indian) food places, vegetarian dishes, Gold & jewellers shop, community center, Indian grocery, back-to-back signal on road, bus stops quickly moving traffic, Hindu temples, community center, nearby parks diverting from main road, Indian cooking utensils, optics, confectioners and farsan shop... Golden miles has mostly everything one may need or wish for. Even when you need nothing, an interesting road to hop around !!
