“Good shop bin using for 16 years the big one 8n town the tesco one is good on prices but don't give good price when selling so I only buy from here pc bits or xbox games or old classic consoles and the warranty is good and they replace with same item or bit better at same value if not online or in any stores”

“I was introduced to this place at my first full time job; where I was an apprentice. I was impressed by the customer service on some toners that were not 100% perfect in our machine. This was back in 2005. When I became self employed in 2009 Back 2 Black were a natural choice for my own toners and where I sent all of my clients when asked.These are one of the few places you can buy your printer from and get reasonably priced toners from while maintaining a warranty on your machine.Recently I've had zero issues with toners purchased from this place and to this day I continue to send all of my clients their way for toners. Not certain if they are the cheapest but pricing is competitive, delivery very rapid, knowledge of product second to none. Highly recommended.”

“Visited CeX Gallowtree in Leicester, a solid spot if you're into second-hand phones, gaming consoles, and accessories. They’ve got a good selection of reused tech and also offer the option to rent out games, which is a nice touch.

The staff were friendly and helpful — answered questions and guided me through the options without any pressure. That said, there was quite a long queue, so be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours.

Overall, a good place for affordable tech and gaming gear if you don't mind second-hand. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for decent deals.”

“We purchased a second hand X Box which had an undiagnosed problem with the wireless controllers connecting. This is something that would not have been obvious in checking whether it worked.After problem shooting we returned the console to CEX. I think the two gents who served us were Cory and Raheem (apologies, it was a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to write the names down). Anyway, the two gents were brilliant.They took it in for a diagnostics session and when they realised they couldn't fix it they proactively sourced another replacement. When we returned from a coffee shop they clearly explained all our options. When we confirmed we wanted to get the newer console they checked it extensively to make sure the problem did not affect the replacement console before we took it away.Their attention to sorting the problem quickly, effectively and to our satisfaction was well received. The communication to us throughout was also appreciated. We would definitely recommend the shop and we found the staff extremely helpful”

“Jordan and his friend were ver helpful in explaining the difference between wheel bike valves. Also enabling me to get the most out of Halfords Premier car club. In addition to pumping up my tyres and carrying one of my Brompton bikes to the car as it was raining. Jordan also brilliant , line Father Christmas on Miracle on 34th Street. Knew that they could not service one of the specialised bikes but was able to give me details of a special shop. We will definitely use Halfords again. What they do not know they are willing to find out more. Moreover., with everything going on Jordan put my phone in a secure area till I returned at closing time. This was Really appreciated!!! “The Team at JOHN LEWIS LEICESTER customer services (6 Jan 2025) were very helpful when I had a problem with an online order which was lost or possibly even stolen by Royal mail. This package had been delayed for more than a week but the Team in the store were able to sort it out and rearrange my order. This was a great relief because it was very stressful to hear from Royal Mail customer services that the package had been lost.

This is why it is good to have a reputable department store with a physical store and people present in person. Not an untraceable online business. Keep supporting your High Street stores like John Lewis please.”
