I have very happily relied on East Goscot Plumbers to service my gas boiler for the last three years & recently called them out to investigate why my home was not toasty warm in the cold wet weather. My phone contact with a friendly female advised date & time slot. Russ called before his visit to confirm he was on his way; he was professional, polite & friendly, explaining so I could understand & showing me photos of the problem in the system as he worked to solve it, which he did. I highly recommend East Goscote Plumbers, it's rare these days to feel so confident that a job will be done so well & priced fairly. Thank you EGP.

Recently had a pipe leak in my neighbours loft, called East Goscote Plumbers and they booked him in for 2 working days time. Spoke to them the next day and they said they could fit him in sooner as they knew it was urgent and had someone available.
Not only did they fix the leak but also fixed two others that were not so apparent. They also replaced the exposed lagging and did so in a timely manner.
Thanks for your work. Great job!

I had East Goscote Plumbers out to sort some snags after I bought a Jelson new build. I spoke to a woman called Jane to book the work in, and she was very helpful and polite. The plumber, Nick, arrived on time and did a great job, even with my dogs barking away in the background. Really pleased with the service and would happily recommend them.

I came home to find the house very cold during this cold spell. The water pressure was low. I rang the out of hours number, which was answered quickly and got Gary. So helpful and patient. Can't thank him enough. Thanks for a great all round service ?

Boiler service booked with a confirmed time window. I stayed in all day and nobody attended, and I received no call or message to explain the absence.
I later contacted the company and was told it was due to a ?system error?, with the next available appointment offered weeks later. While an apology was given, there was no acknowledgement of the time lost or the inconvenience caused.
As a homeowner taking time off work, I expect basic communication and reliability. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my booking was not taken seriously.
I won?t be using this company again.
Update:
My booking and communication were carried out via a company email address using the same domain as the business.
My intention is not to cause confusion, but to accurately reflect the service I experienced as a customer.
I will not be pursuing this further.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the installation and commissioning of the air source heat pump (AHP) system at my home.
When we moved into the property, we were told that the system was fully set up and that there was no need for us to adjust any settings. However, shortly after moving in, we discovered that we had no hot water. The hot water cylinder was set to 35 °C, which is clearly insufficient for normal domestic use. While this was relatively easy for me to identify and correct by increasing the temperature, this should have been properly configured and tested before handover.
In addition to this, the space heating system was not operating efficiently. The flow temperature was fixed at a maximum of 50 °C, with the circulation pump running constantly at maximum speed (Speed III). This is not appropriate for a correctly commissioned heat pump system and significantly impacts efficiency and running costs.
I subsequently had to research and configure the system myself, including enabling and setting up weather compensation so that the heat pump could operate at lower flow temperatures and modulate correctly. This should have been completed and optimised as part of the original installation and commissioning process.
Furthermore, I noticed that several pipes exiting the manifold were only partially insulated and left exposed. I have since had to insulate these myself, which again should not have been necessary in a professionally installed system.
Taken together, these issues suggest that the system was neither fully commissioned nor correctly adjusted before being handed over. I would describe the installation and setup as unprofessional and not in line with the standards I would expect for a heat pump installation.

Brilliant job. Steve and Paul came out today to solve a problem with our exterior lights .. despite it being more than 30ft up and it rained heavily all day - they stuck at it (without a lunch break) and ultimately fixed the issue. Can?t fault them pair !! Happy to recommend them to anyone. Many thanks to them

I recently had Russ from East Goscote Plumbers Ltd visit to service my boiler, which is over 25 years old. Before Russ, I had three different gas engineers look at it, all of whom insisted it was too old and needed replacing. One even refused to touch it, saying it was older than him and he had no idea how to deal with it.
Russ, however, approached the job with professionalism and confidence. He carried out a thorough service, showed me detailed photos of the inside of the boiler, and explained its current condition clearly. He also talked me through important considerations, such as the difficulty of sourcing parts for older boilers, while reassuring me that mine was in surprisingly good condition given its age.
Beyond his technical expertise, Russ was friendly, pleasant, and easy to deal with and an absolute blessing to have in the home. His professionalism and approachable manner set him apart from others I?ve dealt with.
East Goscote Plumbers Ltd are now my go-to engineers. In the next year or two, I plan to replace the boiler and all the radiators, and I will definitely be using them again.

Had these guys every year for boiler serving in rented accommodation and now carrying on in my first bought home.
No mess, pre-call, friendly and helpful young lady.
I couldn't have asked for more, it is so rare these days to have such a great customer experience, so when you do it stands out.

Each plumber has their own unique style of customer care and they couldn?t be more helpful and patient.
Gary is very kind to my elderly mother and takes care to look after her and explain carefully about each job. A true gentleman!
Russel carefully showed us how to manage the Hive heating system with an easy to understand 1-1 lesson, on how to use the App.
