I love John Lewis and the Leicester shop is very good. However as an elderly customer (spritely 74) I find that the area displaying my favourite brands, Hobbs and Phase Eight, is quite small and doesn?t display the best of their designs.\\n\\nI cannot fault the electrical department having recently purchased a new iPad and TV from them. Cosmetics and handbag areas are excellent.\\n\\nA shop like John Lewis doesn?t attract a young clientele so why not cater for your core customers- over 30?s, professionals and little old ladies with husbands dragged in for a coffee and cake whilst we shop.

Well it's a bit of a tricky one to review.\\n\\nCustomer service is good but as for items for sale in terms of pricing and way of merchandising this place is kind off stuck in time. Don't know how else to describe it.\\n\\nOnly busy part of the shop is top floor with all the tech, sound and vision stuff.\\n\\nOn the same floor you can find some nice, good quality kids toys at good price when on offer but once again the floor it's dead and variety is very limited.

Awful. It's almost criminal how the managers can run down an institution such as this. No sales staff on the tech floor while 5 staff stand around empty till chatting and laughing. JL will soon run out of goodwill and money if they carry on like this. I bet Mike Ashley is keeping a close eye on this ineptitude.

Very very poor customer service. Very rude and unprofessional people they have. Now I realise I was wrong pay extra money to John Lewis for peace of mind it?s quite opposite. I could get same stuff cheaper than John Lewis. I hope I can give not a single star. They really don?t deserve that

I purchased a Panasonic 4K tv from John Lewis & Partners and within months it had failed. It would not operate show a picture or work properly. Being an on line company you are not encouraged to actually speak to their customers services, but somewhat forcibly redirected onto a Whats App program. From then on you are going nowhere! Eventually they sent out an engineer from the B'ham agent who fitted a new screen/tube and for 3 x months it worked well. I stressed I really wanted a replacement new set, but was cajoled to have it repaired there and then. 3 x months later there was no picture and eventually they have arranged to recollect it. (It took them 3 weeks) and whilst they admit there is a problem; they are just unavavilable. My experience is to "Don't buy from John Lewis & Partners as they have become the company who hide behind IT technology and cannot be reached. Nigel Bridge-Wilkinson

Ordered ipad pro 12.9 2020 and adaptor but when the parcel arrived i only found the adapter and ipad pro was missing. I complained to john lewis and they said we can't do anything, go and ask your card provider. This is so ridiculous and terrible service.

Nice modern store. Has lots of lovely different products. Oh the pricey side but can sometimes find a good deal.
