Quite unpleasant. Rooms (especially floors/carpets and the bath) were grubby and clearly in need of deep cleaning. Weird bleachy smell all the time in the corridors and rooms. Water from taps is luke-warm and had an odd rotten egg smell. Room itself was spacious but the window faces directly onto a busy car-park and there's no double-glazing, so there's a constant sound of motorway noise and car park noises (alarms, doors slamming, etc).In two occasions the staff made up the room but left dirty cups and didn't hoover. On one occasion I was given someone else's dirty cups (containing some rubbish and an earring)!Rooms: Everything was a little but grubby-looking

I Only Stayed Overnight Because I Was At A Comedy Gig Upstairs At The Western In Leicester City Centre. The Service I Received Was Fantastic, I Asked For A Taxi To Be Booked And Received A Courtesy Call To Say That It Would Be Outside In A Few Minutes.I Left My iPhone Charger In The Room And After Sending Them A Prepaid Envelope, It?s On It?s Way To My Home In Yorkshire. My Charger Arrived As Promised And I Can Now Breathe A Sigh Of Relief.Again Days Inn @ Welcome Break Leicester Forest East Is The Place To Stay If You Are A Weary Traveler On Business Or As I Was Returning From A Gig.

I visit Leicester a few times a year and always try and stay at the Days Inn as I find it the best value and convenient. Some of the rooms have fridges which is very handy and there's also a microwave and toaster in the reception area. It's these little touches which make this hotel stand out from the others. The rooms and beds are comfortable, tend to be in the warm side but I prefer this. There are really no downsides to staying here.
