I had very bad experience with this Bank. They blocked my account.I had 500 pound in my account. On that time they told me your amount is safe . They send this amount in international account but they. Did not transfer my amount. I was provided all documents they needed. I was connected many times. Now they did not respond my mail . I suggest everyone please don?t open accounts in this bank .

One of the best bank in the whole UNITED KINGDOM! Keep the customers well secured from scammers! I DO HAVE practical experience and seen like Barclays bank DON'T and didn't give that much security as the the cooperative bank give.The cooperative bank leicester market staff members are so welcoming, Specially Mr Hatish, Mr Sayed and Ms Neha! I do recommend it to all my family members, colleagues and friends. Thumbs up to the admin and manager!

It took me over an hour to deposit some unused postal orders because the bank teller and the bank manager had the strange belief that writing my name on them would "deface it". I also had my receipt from when I purchased the orders at the post office, which used my bank debit card, to remove any doubt of suspicious activity etc, just in case. Yet, branch staff declined to deposit them until I kicked up a fuss.
The staff eventually conceded but it was an unnecessarily negative and time consuming experience.
I felt treated like a criminal and needless to say will be closing my account with the Cooperative Bank shortly, which is a shame given what I feel the bank stands for, but the level of service has become just too poor.

This is very poor Bank.I advise everyone not open account in this bank .Service is not good. They don't give importance to their customer. They block my account in May 2023.I have some amount in this account. Even they close my account. They did not give my money back. They only tell me They will send .I am mailing and call everyday but they are not send my money .... Even they not my reply on mail where I demand for remaining amount in bank .they close my account and they do not send my money back .when I called them they cut my call.

I am switching over to Co-op bank due to their ethical stance that I am happy about. As I live in Leicester, I went to that branch and had such a lovely experience. Everyone is so friendly and Neha Joshi was amazing. She walked me through everything and made it all very simple for me and was just absolutely wonderful. Very happy I am switching with them, I had no idea it would be this easy and wish I had done it sooner

I advise everyone not open accounts in this bank .because after sometimes they block your account. And your money is not safe in this bank .dealing of this bank is very poor .they torture customers even for their money .My friend send details many times but they did not transfer their amount .

Absolutely rubbish service I live in nuneton and the nearest co-op bank it Leicester or SolihullI want to contact them I have to go through their central call centre which I was on hold for over a hour ..I am really considering switching banks its ridiculous trying to get anything sorted with out going to a branch which is 20 miles awaySo annoyed
