Had a fantastic dining experience at Chettinadu South Indian Restaurant yesterday! The flavours were authentic and rich ? especially loved the ?Chettinadu Chicken Curry and Masala dosa.The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made it feel like a true taste of South India. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine South Indian cuisine. Will definitely be back!

Been for a dinner yesterday with my family, one of the best South Indian restaurant you can find in Leicester, tried their masala dosa which was very authentic, it reminds me of the dosas we used to have in India, very nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Last time we went to the restaurant, the food was exquisite but we had to leave two mouthfuls in as it took 90 minutes to receive our meal and we would have been late to the theatre. Today, I made sure we arrived earlier and had told my daughter she was in for a treat. This time the service was good, the place wasn't crowded but all subtlety of the spices that I was looking forward to was buried under so much heat that I had to admit defeatless than half way though my plate. If I could have had the beautiful food of the first visit with the service and attention of the second, it would have been wonderful. I'm not sure I'm brave enough for a third visit.

Been to chettinad yesterday with my family and had a wonderful experience, got a very warm welcome and got seated in a lovely calm table, the overall decor and ambience was very nice.
We had the meat platter which was very delicious and the biriyani was absolutely
outstanding, perfectly spiced, every bite of the biriyani had the essence of authentic chettinad cooking, the staff was very friendly and helpful with the suggestions definitely will be back soon

I have ordered dinner yesterday the food was horrible not at all good completely waste of money and yuck ? how come you can charge this much amount for such horrible food lamb kothu parotta was horrible very dry the meat was with no spice and hard parotta was dry I don?t know how you expect someone to eat this food I threw the kothu parotta couldn?t eat more than one mouth very bad and it was a huge disappointment

came here with great expectation from a previous restaurant visit with the same name in a different city,and the food was okayish but later we had upset stomach and runny stools for 3-4days and it took a week to recover our normal strength back.I think the tapioca dish and fish curry might have been well aged in the deep freeze and reheated on the day,hope they will improve their practises!never setting the foot their again though.
