This is a beautiful place but parking is a nightmare. So many people out walking with/ without dogs, running, children riding bikes. Love the cafe at the main entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful as was the assistant in the Barn, where a variety of venison is available at a reasonable price.

Easily the best outdoor place you can visit in Leicestershire for free (if you don't count paying for parking , but it does go to the upkeep). Miles and miles of tracks and trails through some quintessentially English countryside with free range deer mooching about and the odd peacock. For those who prefer a solid path there is a nice wide path that runs through , buggy and wheelchair suitable. Cafe does decent coffee and cake.In summary . It's beautiful you should visit

Fantastic place to explore. Great walking among the trees & open moorland - spotting deer. And if you like a bit of history, Bradgate House is definitely worth a lookDog-friendliness: Great place for dogs. You need to keep your furry friend on a lead in places.

Spent a lovely morning in Bradgate Park - a beautiful place to walk. And thank you to the cafe for opening its doors half an hour early so we could have a much needed cup of coffee!

Bradgate Park is a MUST VISIT for everyone! We love to go at sunrise, and have a run up to Old John, and take in the views, but there is a flatter more accessible track that has benches and seating areas. Seeing the deer is just a magical feeling, and we always go back to Bradgate everytime we visit Leicester!Picnic area: Plenty of areas to sit and enjoy a picnic!
