“Very good service provided by the staff at the Leicester branch over the last 4 years.Viraj is a very experienced and knowledgeable lady who is always pleasant and happy to help with all kind of queries.Pranav has also helped with the process of transferring our FD opened many years ago into our savings account, explaining the full process and exactly which forms needed to be submitted. “Its great to have a local building society in Leicester city centre with the amount off branches now sadly closing down. The service by staff is very help- ful and professional do not have to wait long at all. They deal with all transactions for you and its so convenient as well. A nice branch lets hope this one does not end up closing as so many banks and building society have closed down due to a surge in online banking which works for some and not for others.”

“it's the only halifax branch I can get to and I don't do on line banking so I would be very angry and upset if it closed. I've been with Halifax bank for over 30 years and I had my mortgage from there. do if that bank in leicester city centre closed I would have no way of get to another branch (I don't drive)... I would have to cancel my account and try somewhere else, that would not only be a problem but after over 30 years I think i would deserve some sort of compensation. so please do not close the leicester branch.
I have always been happy with the halifax bank....”

“Went in on a Saturday morning as it was the only time we can go.
It was mega busy but the asian lady ( Lax I think!)was awesome in dealing in our query.
We had to wait about 30 mins because of the queue but then the tall bold asian chap was just as efficient in sorting out my daughters account.
Bit of a wait but well dealt with.??”
