I visited this charity shop with my 3-year-old daughter, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. My daughter innocently touched a toy, and the manager reacted with rudeness, instructing her to put it back and lecturing both of us.What was most concerning was the manager's inappropriate comment about 'teaching us how to behave in a white man's shop.' Such comments are unacceptable and offensive. What shocked me even more was the lack of any apology for their behavior. I believe that all customers, regardless of their background, deserve respectful and considerate treatment.I hope the shop can address these issues to provide a better experience for everyone. Shop keeper herself was from the same race as me but had the courage to lecture me( whose lived in UK for more than 23 years ) in how to raise a kid in white person owned shop ?.

Searching for a sari for a friend?s wedding and came here knowing nothing but the staff and customers could not have been kinder, more helpful or more pleasant. A thoroughly enjoyable trip that was very successful and a wonderful insight to some aspects of Indian culture. Every customer helped with different saris and the staff, as I say, were so kind, so chatty and so helpful.

Asha charity is a very nice shop. The shop sells saree and suits and I would recommend for people to go there as you would experience staff trying saree's on and putting asha charity shop on the map and also your donations would greatly be appreciated and the money will be donated to a very good cause to people who are suffering and very poor conditions in south africa. So please visit Asha charity shop belgrave road Leicester as you would be very welcome and feel at home. You can sit down have a cuppa tea have a chat with any of our staff as most of our staff are very good Listeners.
