Nice big store. Used to be very busy when i was a kid and shopped there with my mum. Now its mainly online so people only come in to collect. Friendly staff.

The must unprofessional people's. The dpd left my colet there and when i was going to pick it up they say i already collected, wick is a big lie. And when i said i want to make a complain they didn't accept. It's so disappoint, i will not trust them. They are stealing people's parcels and after they don't care about the client problems. Very disappointing

I intended to return an item and get refunded within 14 days of purchase. I cited the UK law about ?Accepting returns and giving refunds? and ?distance selling?. The store manager on duty refused to my return, and refused to test the product onsite.
I contacted online customer services and explained the whole process. They apologised and offered a solution.
After reading the negative reviews here, I realised my experience is not alone.
Staff need to be properly trained to understand and adhere to UK Law related to consumer rights. Store managers have no right to ignore the UK law and make their own ?rules? to create unnecessary barriers for customers to return products.

Argos is not a traditional shop where you go in,study the stock, choose what you want and go home.It has no stock on display. You can choose what to buy online,pay the same way, then go along and collect.This can be convenient but is less so if you need to handle items before deciding your choice - as I often do. For that reason they keep one counter where you can ask for advice and to which they can bring candidate stuff. I tried this facility twice this year in search of replacements for busted household goods which I did not know how to find anywhere else. and it kinda worked too cos I pretty much got what I needed.

Argos is one of the few surviving high-street stores.
This branch is located not far from the clock tower and very central.
Despite the large space there is very little inside the store.
There are a series of terminals and you can order from those from stock in the building.
There is obviously a collection service for pre orders.
Ordering a laptop this was quick and easy and we had it in under 10 minutes.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
I guess if the item you want is in store then you will get a similar response time.
Despite the lack of items in display this shop works well and the terminals were easy to use. Staff were keen to help others too.

Hounding me for a car parking ticket from 2021 can't even cancel it for me or agree to pay the original fine, 15 minutes I was there, Argos and Sainsbury's are against the people

Good service, ordered a light shade but it found to be having some bends so when requested for a swapping it was done quickly.

Attending the store to return a faulty item which was within 30 days of the return policy. The manager was really rude and stated that he has made a decision that the item is not faulty and he?s not gonna take the item back. I called customer service and they stated that they will happily take the item back, never going to use this Argos store again and it is a such a shame that the managers think they?re the bosses and will not take items back.

Want to share my experience with this horrible store my hubby brought a car navigation system went to exchange it today but the lady behind the counter was so unhelpful and rude and Racist staff at this store are just not interested in doing there jobs and are so lazy if your not interested in your jobs you might as well close the store ????
