I can't fail Kegworth on any level. The service was fantastic. Everyone was really friendly and helpful even when I pitched up at 11pm. The room was fab. Nice and clean. Perfect for a solo traveller. Appreciated being able to open the window to get a nice cooling breeze overnight. Nice and quiet, even the planes from East Midlands didn't bother me. I'll definitely add this to my schedule if I need to stay overnight on trips 'down south' and Ill recommend to family, friends and colleagues too. Thanks Kegworth!

It's fair to say that the whole place needs refurbishment or at least redecorating.
In my particular room there are mold stains on the bathroom ceiling, the sink tap is loose, tile grout is cracked with mouldy stains, there are badly filled holes in the wall. However the room was clean... Virtually spotless in fact. (It's not housekeepings job to paint the ceiling and remove stained grout.)
The staff are attentive and efficient.
Don't come here expecting a gormet experience, the food is the standard catering fare and is OK...not more.
However, notwithstanding the above my stay was excellent value for money and I have absolutely no complaints.

Cheap-ish hotel in a great location. 2 minute walk to bus stop for EMA, which is 10 mins away for £3!!! Fairly basic and no frills but it?s what you expect within this price range

Stayed for a night before our holiday and it was OK
The room was clean adequate for our purpose, and the food was very decent, small buffet breakfast in the morning which was very nice
The staff were also pleasant
Couldn't fault it for the price

Booked up on booking.com for the hotel has we had a early departure from EMA.
When booking in, Karen on reception said u booked for 2026 not 2025.
She said they were very busy, has it was prom time.
She looked for a while on the PC.
She managed to find 2 apartments for the party of 4 of us .
Charged me same price of my booking.
She went out and beyond to help us.

Stayed for 1 night in a single room. The shower was like a drain pipe outlet, no power at all. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, the shower curtain rail is / was covered in rust.
The window was dirty and the power outlet from the bedside lamp did not work. All that said, it was ok for me as it was as said only for 1 night while attending Donnington.

Stayed in this hotel while down at alton towers. The hotel is disgusting!! The room is an eye sore. Tiles hanging off walls in the bathroom. Rusty and dirty bath and sink! Dirty, dusty walls everywhere. Just looked very unkempt.
The food was abysmal! As part of the package it included, dinner & breakfast, it was set options. Being ONE option only.
The dinner was frozen Veg, frozen sliced beef from Iceland & roast potatoes. When served, this food wasn't however just cold...it was honestly till frozen! Made the chef aware. Who didnt seem to care. Noticed most of the guests leaving their meals and heading out. Lucky there was a fine little chippy down the road for everyone!
Breakfast was a little better..wasn't great tho.
Would advise anyone to avoid this hotel.
