No large or small kebabs just one size £8 and for that price it should be large. Hardly any salad too. I could have bought a whole chicken, cucumber and lettuce for less.

Worst chippy in the area, just had some inedible chicken, from the day before, and re-fried chips. Greasy, dry and tastes off. Don't know why I thought they may of improved but they have gone down hill from bad.

My daughter and her friend came at the weekend and brought food, it was absolutely chucking it down of rain so they decided to sit in and eat the meals. A worker, a man came over and charged them 50p each to sit down and eat the food they just brought! Absolutely disgusting don?t have seating in your chip shop and then when people buy food and want to sit in expect them to pay! Will never ever use you again! What is that 50p each gonna do when they spent over £10 on food

We heard this chip shop was also doing gluten free options I am coeliac so me and hubby decided to visit. Very smart very clean place and staff very helpful and friendly. I had the gluten free cod and chips it was lovely and hubby had non gluten free fish chips he to enjoyed.it. We sat inside and the food was brought to us. Its so nice to know that they understand the importance of gluten free theres plenty of signs showing gluten free and even a menu on the wall.There's plenty of parking so we definitely visit again.

Ordered a large gf fish and chips with curry sauce. When it arrived it was cold, there was barely any fish in the batter and was dripping in oil. When we complained to the owner he said it wasn't his fault, wasn't apologetic and was very rude. Do Not go here

My partner walked past this place with our 3 year old, desperate to use the toilet, she went inside and asked, the man was very rude and simply said.. 50p?. My wife had no money on her at the time and said this to him, the man shrugged his shoulders and turned his back on them! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and not how I believe you give a good impression of your business. We are looking at moving to the area in the near future and will not be going anywhere near this place, neither will friends or family.

Having seen Queens numerous times while in the Ibstock area we decided to take the dive and try it. Store was very clean, and well presented. Service was quick and staff were polite and friendly. We opted to eat in and were invited to take a seat and food would be brought over to us in a few minutes when ready.The food was presented wrapped in paper, in typical take away fashion, with wooden disposable knife and forks. For a takeaway this is fine, however when eating in seems somewhat cheap. The fish was hot and freshly cooked and the batter was crisp on the outside but severely under seasoned lacking any sort of flavour. The fish was flakey and cooked well, however was sorely let down by the batter. The chips tasted like they'd been stood for quite some time, or even possibly reheated from earlier in the day. The gravy and curry sauces were typical chip shop quality. One of our party ordered nuggets which arrived freshly cooked but also saturated in oil. Service was great and cannot fault the staff in any respect for that aspect of the experienceAll in all Queens is a lovely looking takeaway/eatery that's let down somewhat by its underwhelming food.

As always...delicious, well cooked food. The portions here are incredibly generous and 1 small fish and chips, 1 small battered sausage and chips, and 1 mixed kebab and chips was more than enough for 4 of us. The team are always friendly as well - absolutely nothing but positive things to say about Queens. Thanks!

Started using this fish and chips shop after Vinny's changed hands.I've had battered sausage, chips and curry sauce a few times now (alongside some battered pigs in blankets) and each time the food has been well cooked and with generous portions. I'd highly recommend this fish and chip shop.
