Went on a Saturday after a walk, got there 1.30. Sign on door said close at 2, last orders 1.30. Wouldn?t take an order. Asked if we could have takeaway. Answer was yes. 2 mins later we were told only cold food takeaway, so we had to give up. We?ve been before and had really nice food, we were looking forward to a bacon sandwich. Wouldn?t have been a big deal to make us one, and we were definitely there at last orders time. Not impressed this time, staff were obviously cleaning up and wanted to go home.

used to always choose this cob shop over others in area. returned to home area so thought id go treat myself isn't what it once was. unfortunately. food was bland, will not choose to use again on my next visit. sorry your pork and apple sauce went in the bin. no taste from apple sauce and pork was extremely fatty, tough and inedible

AVOID AT ALL COSTS One of the most rude women I?ve ever encountered shes make me feel like she scraped me off the bottom of her shoe!! Food was disgusting sausages were cheap eggs weren?t even runny, the place is absolutely filthy!!

Watched an u/12 girls soccer match.The grass clearly hadn't been cut for months, far too long. Burbage Council have shown a total disregard to childrens sport in the village, in particular girls soccer.

I live local and swore i wouldn't give them my custom previously after being ripped off and disappointed. I went there on Sunday against my better judgement and ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. The young girl begind the counter looked at the chalk board for a while to see how much she should charge me. I had to point to the ham and cheese sandwich written on the board for her to know it was £3.40. When I got home there was no flipping ham in it. The cheese is that low grade mild pre grated plastic cheese. Thats the second time I havent received what I asked for. Anyway, despite this, their edible cakes, shortbread, rockyroad, cookies etc are bought from cosco and sold with a large mark up. Their home made cakes look like they've been sat there over a 2 weeks. I tried a slice of home made coffee cake last time and through it away as it was not cooked through. Its all bought-in and not worth the money. Highly disappointed

Excellent throughout. Stopped off for lunch and a cuppa. Thoroughly impressed with everything! Service, friendly staff and great value!

Andy and his TEAM provide fantastic food and service depending on your 'needs' ... since 'Lockdown' they have expanded their 'menu' to include some FANTASTIC HOME MADE PIES ... these are to 'DIE FOR' ... my favourite is VENISON but I believe from Andy that the 'ALL TIME FAVOURITE' is 'STEAK & STILTON' I've yet to try this one ...
