I've ordered from here since they opened in the 80s. Tonight's service was shocking. Not only did they mess up my order that was ordered early, I called to tell them some items were missing and they said they would deliver an hour and half later, no good already have the food and family were eating.
I asked for a refund which they said they would send, should have been 9.50 but sent me 6.50 and some canollis I didn't ask for. Food was also cold, not a great service tonight.

Pre ordered chicken pasta and a pizza at 5.30 for delivery at7.30. Delivery arrived with the driver saying they had run out of chicken for the pasta?!!! The pasta was the wrong one also rigatoni instead of pasta bows. This place has gone seriously down hill! Don?t bother. Plenty of other takeaways in Hinckley that deliver what you ask for. Don?t bother with this one!!

Not as good as it once was, but still good. I expect ownership has changed as the eat-in part of their restaurant has been sold off and is now a bar and also the staff was entirely young people when we went there recently.

Back in the 80s I went to ponchinellos , I met the owner a very nice lady.. I was on leave from the army in Germany..I asked about the toppings and told her of what I had on my pizzas in Germany, I mentioned having an egg dropped in the middle and she added this idea to her menu and is still there to this day..I have over the years always highly recommended this place..At the time she said she has to order the bases in at the moment until she can make her own..I've been in from time to time but now live 3.5 hours drive away..I decided to make the journey Purley to purchase my favourite pizza from my favourite pizza place..On checking the menu options I noticed that they no longer use salami but have pepperoni, as I wanted to recreate what I used to have back in my days in detmold Germany, I went and purchased Germany salami to have this added in place of pepperoni..I explained I'd travelled 3.5 hours Purley to have one of their pizzas..They refused to used the new unopened salami that I provided and even offered to pay for that topping as an extra..I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AFTER MAKING THE JOURNEY.. I tried 2 other pizza sellers on the same street but they didn't ethier do or have the toppings I required..I now wished I'd ever recommended this place over the years as I bet I've sent alot of custom to them..

Pure speed, greed and quantity of customers over quality. Two thin crispy pizza and a garlic bread ordered but only dough turned up. Barely scared by I presume a traditional oven and not wood fired. An insult to Italians. Perhaps get some quality control. Just sloppy!!!

Ordered Takeaway from here not long ago, have also ordered from here several times and regularly over the past few years, food came pizza was like slop, lasagna was like soup & the Meatballs tasted tasted solely of fennel then phoned to ask in a nice manor about a possible refund if food was sent back in way it came or a discount for next time as it was bad inedible level bad & was told if you didn?t like the food don?t order from us again this is after 2 calls to them and speaking to 2 ?apparently different staff members? who actually turned out to be the woman that was rude to myself before then got cut off and they wouldn?t take further calls was very disappointed in the service, and won?t be returning as the member of staff suggested.

The pizza here is absolute fire! So fire that they run out early and only have to open a few days a week. Some of the best pizza ever.

Phoned multiple times to try and order at 2100 finally got through to be told not open. On website open till 2230. Not the first time. Pizza really good they just make it really difficult to get one.

Friendly service, food smells amazing but wasn't a big fan of the pizza, was really really greasy and the pepperoni was super salty, not really a pizza you can eat with your hands unfortunately.

Best pizza in Hinckley, quality over quantity, definitely worth the price.Pasta is OK.A little difficult to ring in an order most of the time and waiting times can often be excessive as they get very busy, odd opening hours but very good pizza!
