Unpleasant Experience with Staff Member!
I visited the store today and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with one of the employees. After completing my purchase using my card, I asked the young man at the till if he could change a £20 note for me. He responded rudely, saying he couldn?t help and that I should walk to the bank instead.
To resolve it, I picked up a bottle of water and paid with the £20 note so that I could get the change. He made it clear through his body language?eye-rolling and a dismissive look?that he felt he was doing me a favour.
When I asked for his name, he said it was Josh. Based on this interaction, I believe he could benefit from some training in customer service. As a result of this experience, I?ll be choosing to shop at Aldi moving forward.

Better off shopping at Aldi. Staff don't know how to open up tills, store is consistently busy and queue's don't seem to go down. When a till does open it takes staff a good 10 minutes to come down and get the queue moving. Would be a 4 star if they just open up a self check out.

Some dates in items are very short like 2-3 days in the fresh section. So you need to watch dates. As with all supermarkets prices have gone up. Some of the branded non Lidl items are just as expensive as at other shops like Tesco
Staff are always helpful.

Signs could be clearer and I know it's busy but an angry response when I ask where something is just doesn't cut it.
Also queue's were very bad even though not as busy as the Aldi I just came from. Really need self checkout or more self checkout (didn't see any)
