Although following the modern trend, this is more of a walk in money vending machine than a traditional bank, something I really regret. However there are humans there and their performance was on both visits well above the call of duty, particularly 'Clare'. All the staff were well trained and perfectly capable of dealing with the day to day curve balls dealt them by the government and the banking industry. I personally prefer the old system, but then we dinosaurs are becoming extinct! The rumoured removal of cash in favour of digital currency is frightening and we should all oppose it, plastic is helpful but for me, cash is king!!!

Hi there. I came in today and although it was busy, I felt that the service I received with the attitude was not reflective of what I should have got as a customer. I appreciate that they didn't know the answer to my question (of switching an account), but I was expecting them to show some compassion and be nice about it atleast.

Went into this branch this afternoon to do a transaction. I was told because I did not bank with them I could not. I was pleasant and explained my reason as my bank does not have a branch near me. The 2 ladies on the counter were aserbic, unhelpful and because of this I would not use or consider transfering my account to them. Non the wonder local branches are closing with staff that have this attitude.

My granddaughter went to Hinckley branch today to pay some bags of coin into my account and in possession of my debit card. She has done this in the past. At the end of proceedings she was asked if it was her account - she said it was not her account but mine. The coin bags were put back in the carrier bag given back to my granddaughter and that was that. She saidthat this had been ok in the past but to no avail. I'm disappointed to say the least and I am contemplating making an appointment to come in and close my accounts and move to another bank. Up till now I have always been happy in my dealings with you.

Last week I changed my phone and had to changed password details etc on the HSBC app the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable got up and running in next to no time! . Today my daughter had an issue with a payment from Sainsbury's when trying to purchase euros for her holiday ,once we explained all the details to Regan he offered to accompany us to Sainsbury'sIn his lunch hour to explain the situation and in doing so has got my daughter her money back !this to me is going above and beyond his duties in his job role ! All we can say is fantastic customer service and a big thankyou to Regan for all his help.

Absolutely horrible. Had to attend OVER 20 APPOINTMENTS for OVER A YEAR to simply update my details while having all the legal paperwork, new ID, insurance number etc. only to be yelled at, asked HORRIBLY INAPPROPRIATE questions and be dismissed when I was asking to make a complaint until I've had to talk the guy into writing one which took over half an hour. AWFUL. Their marketing as being LGBT friendly is a scam and a joke. Took them a year and a half just to tell me to heck off once again which they at least could have told me straight away if they had enough decency to do so.

its so frustrating I only want to talk to a human being ,over the period of four days I have been listening to music for a total of one and a half hours ,when I finally got through and sorted my business I asked to be put onto the complaints department--and got put on hold again--more music,you need to employ more staff

Absolutely appalling!
Bad enough that one has to call the Bank on a premium rate 0845 number only to be put through to the robot call answering machine for screening - more music on hold - 5 minutes further music on hold. Gave up in disgust. Pathetic service - suggest you close the branch if you cannot be bothered to talk to your customers.
