Fantastic service tonight on Boxing day. Having had a cancelled reservation at another restaurant. They accommodated us very ladt minute (with in half an hour of me calling to book) with fantastic service. The lovely lady Liz that cleared the tables between pir courses was lovely as was the amazing waitress hthst brought everything out ( Unfortunately I didn't catch her name) the barstaff were also wonderful. Thank you for making our family boxing day meal memorable. Xx

We had a wonderful breakfast with Santa at the weekend. Our daughter loved the festive experience as we did especially seeing Santa. The staff, atmosphere and service was excellent we thoroughly enjoyed our morning.

Wonderful food! Had a lovely Christmas meal from their festive menu! Very polite staff and the Manager was very good at checking in on customer's especially making time to make sure we enjoyed our meals and even won a free drink with their new promotion! Highly recommend great value for money!

Amazing service by Mimi was pleasantly surprised how well she handled our group this morning as seemed to be only staff member working. The service was excellent and so quick from serving us all at the till to bringing the food out to us still remembering what we all ordered even when we couldn?t ourselves she was very on the ball and would visit again. The food was very much a basic English breakfast so can?t moan about that for what we paid for.

We have visited the Hansom Cab pub for meals on a few occasions, but today was a real disappointment. Out of the 10 meals ordered not one was decent, 3 were sent back, several things on each plate were inedible. Buns on burgers were solid, sweetcorn was still frozen, bread was too hard to eat. Food was burnt on skillets. Poor quality food, cooked to a poor standard. We chose this place as we?ve been here before, it was a nice place for all the family to be able to celebrate a birthday and also that of a lost love one?s birthday too. Don?t know what?s happened but won?t be returning. Staff looked rushed off their feet (there aren?t enough of them ).

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with the landlord at Hansom Cab, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst customer service experiences I?ve ever had.
The landlord?s attitude was nothing short of appalling. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that I was an inconvenience. Rather than offering a warm welcome or even basic politeness, he seemed irritated by my presence. When I asked a simple question, he responded with sarcasm and a dismissive tone, as if I was wasting his time. It?s not just the rudeness?it?s the total lack of respect for patrons or employees. It was uncomfortable to watch how he treated the staff, barking orders at them in front of customers, making everyone around him tense and uneasy.
I understand that running a business can be stressful, but there?s absolutely no excuse for treating people this way. A bad attitude and poor customer service go a long way in driving people away, and I won?t be returning to Hanson Cab as long as this landlord is in charge. If you?re looking for a place with decent hospitality, I?d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic evening. We always go Christmas Eve, a big family of 14 for family festivities before the big day and this year Hinckley excelled themselves and everything was great!

Booked for Christmas Lunch & they did not disappoint. Very attentive from walking in the door.\n\nWe were offered Prosecco on arrival and shown to our table. There were place cards with our names and confirmation of our pre-booked order.\n\nOur Starters came out quickly and was to die for, wonderful and very tasty.\n\nWe were asked once finished if we wanted our Mains straight away or wished to leave it 10 minutes. A good question as not everyone eats at the same pace. Wow?. The Christmas Dinner was amazing and huge. No scrimping on portions here, in fact two people could have ate one dinner as they were enormous, not many cleared their plates purely due to the generous portions.\n\nAgain we were asked if we wanted to wait or have our Pudding straight away. We waited and had a drink to make room for the delicious Christmas pudding and Brandy custard, in fact I had my pudding packed up to take home as I was fit to burst.\n\nAn exceptional Christmas dinner with a wonderful atmosphere at a reasonable price.\n\nMost certainly will be booking for next year, just need to remember not to eat breakfast on the day!\n\nWell done to everyone who worked so hard to give us a Christmas to cherish.
