Good fitters, nice wardrobes but terrible service. Amazingly they are a Which? trusted trader!
I finally have a well fitted bedroom with new furniture, carpets and bed, but Hammonds took nearly two months to complete it for no good reason. First the delivery people damaged my new paintwork and banisters, then the next day no fitter arrived. I didn?t get a message or phone call, just a no show. When a fitter came the following day it was clearly impossible for him to finish the work within the 2 days scheduled and I was left with half a bedroom. Missing parts as well. Another ?no show? after that then eventually the work was more or less completed just before Christmas (apart from the mirror which I now have).
Everything was in a downstairs room over Christmas until my twice cancelled new carpet and bed could be delivered a couple of weeks ago. Two unusable rooms, no apologies, no answer to my formal complaint, poor communication and finally just a small amount of compensation. Both fitters were very professional but this company is awful to deal with. They said they ?understand my frustration? but believe me, they don?t. I really can?t recommend them.

Very poor. Definitely would not recommend. They genuinely only want your money and after you?ve signed if anything goes wrong they just don?t care. Even the poor fitter was bemoaning the service they were providing and the plastic covered chipboard they supply is totally buffed by advertising wording

A week after notifying them on marks on most of the wardrobe carcass and doors, absolutely zero response from Customer Services. Sent photos, uploaded them to the portal as requested, but still silence. The only contact I ever have is constant reminders to pay the final 10%, all on a 'noreply' email. Good luck trying to get through on the phone!

The staff in the warehouse are amazing, I think the company as a whole though needs some work leaving a lot of customers disappointed.

I was sold a design that could not be built. This was picked up by a separate surveyor visit but their verbal and illustrative explanation of what would be built were also misleading. I have been left with a clunky design with cheap particle board and laminate units. Tried to raise the issue with customer service but they just gave an excellent example of customer shaming, in that, she just deflected all of my points by saying that I should have done more research and visited the showroom 60 miles away. Left massively deflated by what was supposed to be a bit of a treat. Wouldn?t mind so much if it was cheap but it isn?t, it?s actually quite expensive even with the manufactured discount. On a plus point their fitter was excellent.

Visited the hinckley showroom, great layouts, so many choices of colours, finishes and configurations. Pauline gave us a really warm welcome and was really knowledgeable of the products. Have booked a home design visit

I have visited the Hinckley store a couple of times and the quality and service is excellent
Corinne is wonderful and really knows all the products inside out. She really looks after her customers.

I booked a design visit, but I received a phone call a few hours before saying they needed to cancel and reschedule.
I was happy to reschedule for a few days later, so made special arrangements to work from home, only to receive a call 1 hour before the appointment to cancel again.
Dreadful customer service?if I can?t get someone out to quote, I dread to think what the aftersales service is like.

Hammonds came out and gave us a quote for some fitted wardrobes in our bedroom. very good service and no issues when we made some tweaks to the design.\\nFlorian the fitter was fantastic - clean, tidy and just a really nice guy. Top tradesmen.\\nOverall highly recommended.

Had fitted furniture from Hammonds. Both for the end of an extension we've just had built and under the existing stairs of the property. My wofe and I could not be happier with the price, quality and service. Will be using Hammonds Furniture again for the bedrooms, later in the year.
