I?ve visited previously but never took any photos. Unlimited breakfast meals are becoming scarce, so I?m delighted that I?ve found one that isn?t too far away from home. It?s a help-yourself breakfast place. The food is nice for the money you pay. The menu has a selection of hot food, continental, and hot and cold drinks. You can?t complain for £10.99; it is money-saving and delightful.

boxing day, food was well below average, boxing day menu items not available although they were not busy,barman was rude, food was forgotten, then they closed the bar at 9 when on the timetable it said they were open until 11

Really well ran. I felt sorry that they had hardly anything on the menu due to delivery delays. Manager coped with situation well. It's hard to tell people there is a limited menu at this time of year

Nipped in for a hot drink to get out of the rain. We were told all tables were booked and we would need to sit in the bar. My elderly mother has recently had a stroke and we explained to the staff member that she couldn't get up onto the high bar chairs. The manager told us that was our only option or leave, so we did. Clearly they don't cater for disabled people. Never again.

Good choice of dishes with all the usual staples on any pub grub menu (steaks,burgers,fish and chips ,pasta) something to suit all tastes and appetites. A highly recommended sunday carvery on offer here too (booking recommended). Nice setting where you can watch the canal boats go by either inside or outside on the terrace.Free parking (but remember to enter car reg details on tablet at restaurant check in) and a premier Inn there too.

Birthday breakfast for nephew, was sceptical at first on the location choice, but what a great place, beautiful views of the canal and boats, huge garden to enjoy in the summer and a very reasonable price for breakfast.
Whilst it?s self service the food was fresh, great tasting and hot.
Good strong coffee and as it?s bottomless it?s even better!
Well worth a visit if your local.
