We always receive a warm welcome from the team at The Stamford Arms and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals and appreciate the great service we receive. Last night was no exception. The steak pie and tandoori chicken mains were delicious, piping hot, generous portions and nicely presented. We managed to find room for dessert and succumbed to the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate and orange delice special - yummy! Visited in a group of five for dinner, the service was really friendly and attentive and food was really tasty with good portions, if a little on the expensive side. Really wide selection of beers and ciders on tap with local ales etc. Servers brought us takeaway boxes and sauces and helped made the whole experience really positive. If I was to be a bit critical I would say the chicken kebab should include a bit more chicken to balance the meal (five small pieces provided) as it comes in a very large flatbread and to compensate for the £19 price tag.

Great pub to visit just off the M1. Much better experience, food and drink offerings and great value for money compared to the Leicester Forrest services on the M1. Well worth a little detour

Met up with some people from the area. Very welcoming team - friendly and positive. A great pint of Tiger. The portions were generous. My chips were great. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food.

I had brunch here with my friends. The food was fabulous, and the service was friendly and speedy. We'll definitely be back, thinking of going to a music night next time.
