Fab place. Love the setting, we always have to say hello to the goats on the way in. Food is worth every penny, fresh, quality ingredients that are always delicious. Would recommend to book though as it is quite small and well loved so not always able to get a table if you walk in. ??

Lovely lunch and look in the deli/other shops. Good vegetarian options and indoor/outdoor seating.
Plenty of parking (gravel car park).
? A couple of disabled parking bays on hard standing, and the paths near the shops and cafe are paved. There's a disabled loo but you may need help with the door.
? No music, so not too bad over the conversations.

Pennbury has a lovely cheerful vibe and is a great place for food and drinks. There is a dog friendly area inside which is appreciated on a cold day!
I mainly visit to have coffees which are always hot and served quickly.
When I have eaten the portion sizes are good, the food very tasty and always presented nicely on the plate.
All the staff are friendly and polite and Amy does a great job in making you feel welcome when you arrive.
Feel very lucky to have Pennbury so close by and would definitely recommend as a great place for food and drink.

You must book ahead ? this place gets very busy and booking times are limited. The seasonal menu is a big plus; you know you?re always getting fresh, delicious food. There is a bit of a wait for orders, but it's worth it. Plenty of parking available, and a few animals nearby add to the charm. Don?t miss the shop around the corner, it?s full of tempting finds!

Fantastic food and service

Bit pricy and the staff behind the till need to be a bit more friendly. The girls clearing and serving were absolutely lovely. When ordering, we didn?t feel very welcome at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pennbury Farm! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing over a coffee or a meal. It?s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a comfortable experience for guests.
One of the standout highlights for us was the gluten-free menu, it?s not just an afterthought like in many places, but truly well thought-out with plenty of delicious options. It was great to see such variety and quality for those with dietary needs.
What impressed us most is how seriously they take allergies. The manager personally handles all allergy, related orders, which gave us real peace of mind. That kind of attention to detail makes a huge difference.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food and excellent service, especially if you have dietary requirements. A great eascpe the city vide with its rural atmosphere!

what a horrible experience we had using this place today. first when we went in for breakfast, we were told there are no tables left, only soft chairs. my husband saw an empty table and asked the manager if we could sit there, she said no its reserved for lunch. he then noticed another small table and asked about that so the manager said fine you can sit there. we waited 40 minutes for our food, the table that was supposedly reserved, had two couples come and go from it. after 40 minutes my food arrived but not my husbands, their excuse, cause we changed the table. the manager said she would refund us the money, we Don't want free food. there was a complete lack of respect for us. then when she refunded, she said i cannot refund you for the 2 orange juices. I never asked you for a refund in the first place. never coming here again and never recommending this place

An update: I would not recommend this place!
We got 2 really expensive burnt breakfasts and really bad service but when I emailed the owner, Mrs Evans, she was not a bit concerned about the quality of food nor her staffs dishonesty on alot of levels! I was told by her, as I have put a review on this platform, she's not willing to do anything about my worst experience in HER eatery. Well done Mrs Evans, this says alot about your ethics and your own honesty!
We went today to celebrate my daughter's end of exams and our dogs 2nd birthday. It's a lovely day and really looking forward to going out for breakfast.
We sat down decided what we were going to have and went to the till to order our breakfasts. As I was ordering, I just enquired if they could substitute something else for the fried egg. I was told it comes as it is and no substitute or add ons so I had to rethink my choices. The management woman at the tills was lacking in logic and customer service, she was impatient, rude and tried to pressurise or intimidate me to order quickly. She kept reminding me that breakfast ends soon but wasn't willing to give me sometime to rethink. So, I decided to go for the veggie breakfast under pressure and asked if they could add an extra hash brown instead of the egg, the woman agreed but did not confess to charging me an extra £1.50 for one small hash brown on top of the £11.50 I was already paying per plate without the egg. I went back to my table and waited.
The breakfast was served with one hash brown. I asked the waiter why one? She said she would speak to the woman who took the order. Basically, the management woman had lied to her to say I did not pay extra so did not get it, knowing very well she had charged me extra. I recalculated the charges as I had lost the trust. That management woman not only charged me £2.10 extra but lied to her colleague/waitress and I got charred breakfast. The waitress apologised and took all the feedback agreeing that should not have happened and the food was charred.
I was so angry at this manager, hope karma gets her big time for her dishonesty and lack of customer service for really expensive breakfast. She was behaving like she was giving the breakfast to us for free! Shame on her for setting this example to her staff!!
This sour experience really ruined our day that was supposed to be a celebration. I won't return there again as the manager did not apologise for her lie nor any remorse shown for her behaviour!

Pleasant dining experience set in a rural location. Good menu choice geared towards light lunches. Children?s menu also available.
There is a small gift shop situated next to the restaurant. There are goats, pigs and chickens next to the car park.
This is not a hotel, although, Google seems to think it is.
