Really enjoyed our day at Belton . The guides in the house were excellent with there information .we did like the little infoe books in each room telling you about the paintings and displays .also not many roped of areas as in many other houses.great to see the activity area for kids to do stuff and play.

Serving the typical National Trust selection of foods, this cafe has ample seating and is located in beautiful grounds.

Food was fine but the cutlery was really dirty. The knives particularly, had food stuck to dozens of them. I know it was a busy mothers day.

Stables or outside seating. Split into cold food, cake & hot drinks & food counters to try & streamline service. Had light bite quiche, very small. Chicken Chipotle sandwich. Busy - half term, cold with all doors open in stables. Lots of tables with families with own picnics using tables ?

Expensive food for example the hot turkey and stuffing bap for £7 for a 6 inch burger bun with no chips, no crisps, salad, just the sandwich, which was okay.

Great service, coffee was good, however not the turkey and cranberry sandwich. Hardly any filling too much rocket could not taste the turkey or cranberry. Very poor .

Food was very good quality and reasonably priced for a national trust. Sandwiches £4.50. Kids bundle for £5.50.
Coffee was nice too.
Toilets very clean and a nice baby changing area. With room to take the pushchair in too.
The inside table seating in the stables was impressive too.

One of the best National Trust cafés I've ever been to. The stables are full of tables, the whole area is divided into 2 - one family friendly with longer tables and kids facilities and the other one - dog friendly when you can enjoy the treats with your 4 paw friends, away from rain. There is plenty of room and tables so you won't be disappointed. There are some tables outside too. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they always try to serve the customers as quick as they can. Great choice of cakes and scones.
Dietary restrictions: The staff always ask about intolerances and food allergies, they are very attentive.
Parking: Free car park, very spacious and now upgraded with a proper panels so you won't sink in mud.

Very polite, pleasant service from two young chaps. It was a hot day, and I was just after some ice cream. They stock Bluebells luxury artisan products here and they deffo taste mighty fine. Really lovely. I had the double cream vanilla and then (for pud! Ha ha) I had the mango sorbet. Can recommend both. Plenty of outdoor picnic benches in the courtyard, some with large parasols for shade.

Our second visit to the café this year. Staff have been really cheerful and helpful. We sat inside the stables on our first visit, and outside on our second as we had a dog with us. Not a huge selection of food, but enough of a choice including vegie and vegan. Very quick delivery. Free water available and dog bowls for thirsty k9s. Only slight issue is that the menus are only available on chalkboards in the till area. So we took photos of them to make it easier. Recommended ?Vegetarian options: Several Vegie and Vegan options available. Apparently the spicy cauliflower pasty is recommended.Parking: Plenty of on site parking, close to the adventure playground.
