Not sure about this firm as I was charged £50 for wheel alignment, which is well above normal and what was on the website. It was obviously plucked out of the air because the VAT invoice did not come out to an exact number. Unfortunately, apart from leaving a bad taste, one wonders about the quality of the work that was done. Certainly the tyre pressures were not in accordance with the vehicle's requirements - just 39 psi all round.After seeing this the management contacted me and refunded the £50 - which was most generous. Thank you

Not sure about this place.Went in for them to "fix"our tyre, came out with an engine light on. Apparently they said it was on already...... it definitely wasn't.

Failed the MOT for bad brake pads, told less than 1.5 mm, got them changed elsewhere and there was over 4 mm left, I wouldn?t go back

Went for MOT and was given a couple of fails and seven advisories that I didn't bother to fix. The following year I went somewhere else for the MOT and they only found one out of the seven advisories that Protyre found. So if you go to Protyre, bring a lot of money with you as your car will fail.

Booked online for front wheel alignment paid £35 for my old bmw e46 was told back was out of alignment and was changed £35 extra for each adjustment so total was £105 for 4 wheel alignment I think that is well over priced will not use again

Don?t trust buying tyres & getting an appointment on line confirm with a phone call. Had a wasted journey as tyres were not physically there, got them fitted a week later. it's now 8/1/24 no contact from pro-tyre, no good will gesture £20 as promised for my inconvenience. so my experience will avoid if you can .EDIT:16/1/24 have now received my £20 goodwill payment

Not sure why there is so much low rating but these guys were amazing. The wheel alignment and tyre changes went so smooth. Jonathan was very helpful and did my tyre changes and alignment big respect to him. The company was able to provide me a space to do my prayers so thank you for that. I will recommend others to you and hopefully more and more will come and experience what I have experienced a 5 start service !

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at ProTyre in Enfield. They initially lure you in with seemingly cheap prices, but it's all a deceptive scheme. During my vehicle's MOT, they unjustly claimed that my car had faults that simply didn't exist, all in an attempt to generate more chargeable work for themselves. While waiting in their reception area, I observed numerous people coming back with retest queries, which indicates their unscrupulous practices. I took my car to another garage afterward, and it passed with zero faults, confirming ProTyre's dishonesty. Do not go here! They are acting like absolute criminals and urgently need to be investigated by trading standards.

I recently had two new tires installed on my car at this shop. Upon arriving, the person at the front desk informed me that he would charge me £45 for each wheel due to the need for a Torque wrench, as my car has centre locking wheel nuts. I questioned this price, to which he claimed that no one in the vicinity had the required tool with a smile, which I knew to be untrue because "The Tyre Shop in Chingford" possesses one. The fair price for this service should have been in the range of £15 to £25, but it seemed like they saw the Porsche and decided to take advantage of the situation, presumably because the tire had a puncture.I have been a loyal customer of this shop for many years, despite numerous management changes, prompted by declining service quality. During this period, I occasionally explored other tire shops to gauge if the service had improved, but each time I returned, I left disappointed. A decade ago, this establishment was renowned as the top choice in North London for wheel tracking, alignment, and tire-related services. Unfortunately, it has regrettably gone downhill.The tire installation itself was completed in a reasonable time frame, and I ensured to closely observe the work being done. As of now, I have not encountered any issues with the installed tires. So, would I don't recommend this shop? Only in situations of extreme urgency. If you have the option to go elsewhere, I would advise doing so, as their evident greed and lack of integrity are not favourable qualities in a service provider because you never know what you are going to get.So be careful if you have to use them.
