Fabulous meal at Morton?s Bistro - the BBQ was quite unlike any I?ve had before! Amazing fish and salads. Wonderful service. Heated booths and other outside (and indoor) seating. - highly recommended!

Came for breakfast on a Wednesday morning, there was only a few other tables with customers on. We were asked to seat ourselves on a table outside but it took a few minutes for menus to be brought. We then waited a while for our orders to be taken, to be told what we had asked for was not available and shouldn?t be on the menu. We waited another 10 minutes for drinks (cup of tea and bottle of water) and a total of 40 minutes for food (pancakes and eggs). We also heard someone on the table next to us say they had forgotten her food.
Nobody came to gather our plates when we?d finished or to ask for the bill but they kept walking past to other tables. In the end, we went inside to pay.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented but unfortunately the service massively let it down.

The girls serving are great, no issues at all. However, these are the issues:
Flies - we had 4 or 5 constantly around our food. There seems to be nothing done to prevent or at least reduce this. There are also many wasps outside but nothing can be done about that.
Food - is well cooked but very expensive for what you get. Very little meat and only one option for vegetarian (pumpkin).

Service beyond slow - items on the menu that shouldn?t be there ?but haven?t been taken off? sat with empty plates infront of us for 20 minutes before someone came to clear the table. Wouldn?t return

Food was cooked to perfection, the staff are top class and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Food was very well presented and served like in Michelin star restaurant. I hope to visit again very soon!

Great place, good food, friendly staff, nice drinks, nice building and garden. Plus if you passing they have a takeaway ice-cream counter.

Visited this morning to get the vibe of the place for a possible family get together.
After entering we were told to sit in the garden and someone would come to us shortly. After 15 minutes Waiting for some service we left and won?t be back.

Came for Sunday lunch and the food is very tasty. However, portions leave a lot to be desired. You get half a carrot, one bit of broccoli and then a massive Yorkshire pudding which takes up half the plate. I had the lamb which was 3 tiny pieces.
In addition you get ?sides for the table? but they are not proportionate to the number of people. We had one plate of cabbage for 4, the table next to us had the same for 2 people.
The food itself is very tasty, probably one of the best roasts I?ve had in the area, but when you get a few bits of meat, half a vegetable and a few sides, it?s a lot of money for not a lot of food.

Booked for Sunday lunch today but unfortunately left feeling very disappointed. The quality of the meat and vegetables is very good but let down by the fact that it was all served on cold plates and serving bowls. The only warm item was the roast potatoes. They offered to warm the food up but I?m not a fan of microwaved food. I would suggest strongly that this matter needs to be addressed as it appears others have complained about the same issue and I really don?t appreciate being served cold food

Visited for Sunday lunch. Meat excellent and veg well cooked but food served cold. We did mention and it was explained to us that it?s cooked outside but could be warmed. We assumed that the veg and gravy would be warm and make it ok. Wrong - plates and veg dishes are cold.
In the end we persevered but I don?t understand how any establishment can cook very good food and then serve it cold. Cooking outside on the eggs gives a lovely flavour but they need to learn how to manage plating up and delivery.
