Grossly overpriced, it was cold in here got fed up waiting for the bill at the end and didn't enjoy the meal paid £83 for 1 drink each and 2 meals...not a great fan of McDonald's but certainly better than here

We went here on Saturday night and had high expectations. It was cold upon entering and the tables were tiny that we sat at before our meal. Most of the alacarte menu was unavailable. The staff were attentive and the wine was lovely. It was very dark and drab decor, the food was very average for 70 pounds per head. It did warm up but definitely lacked any atmosphere. Disappointing visit I'm afraid.

Bad: freezing cold reception room and front of restaurant, slow and poorly trained service staff, no condiments on the table, confusing menu with too much choice, tasteless starter and extortionate price of over £150.
Good: fantastic mains, puddings and wine.
I?ve posted this hoping the owners take note and improve things for future customers. As for us, we will not be returning.

The staff pleasant.
The starters were not impressive.
However the main course was delicious.
Would recommend just gathering main as it?s a lot of food, starters are not really necessary anyways.
All in all, nice experience. I would recommend them.

Best Sunday lunch in the area? always new and exciting starters on the menu, meat always cooked how you?d like it, side dishes and veg seasoned great and taste amazing. Staff always helpful and friendly too, cannot recommend this place more. Get the pea side dish with your Sunday lunch!!!

From the moment we walked in to the restaurant we had amazing service and continued throughout the evening, Our meals were michelin star worthy food, absolutely incredible all praises to the chefs! Beautifully cooked to perfection, great portions and fabulous fresh produce. Even the cocktails were incredible!

Food was expensive and nothing particularly special. I've eaten cheaper, better meals in central London.
The breaded mushroom starter was very good though and my favourite part of the meal.
Staff were very friendly and nice. It felt like their politeness was a little over the top and unnatural though?

1st Visit to celebrate my Birthday on strong recommendation from a friend of mine.The best Sunday lunch ever.Lovely stylish Restaurant, with free parking opposite.Staff really friendly and efficient.The Drinks are great and good Wine list @ Cocktails.
Menu was excellent with lots of specials.I went for Mussels to start, and a Quadzilla which was a mixture of Roast Beef, Turkey,pork belly @ 18 hr cooked lamb served with gravy cauliflower and broccoli cheese, mixed veg and roast and Mash.Dessert-trio of Ice Cream,washed down with an Irish Coffee. Fabulous Restaurant ? will definitely see you again.
Parking: Car park opposite Restaurant for free.

We received a warm welcome and were invited to take a seat and enjoy a drink before the meal. The drinks came and we took a couple of sips and were then immediately taken to our table.
The menu looked very promising with a good range of specials on the blackboard. The fish dishes looked excellent prospects. I opted for a 30 day aged filet steak which was cooked perfectly. The three times cooked fries were certainly cooked but very blonde and lacking crispiness.
Whilst everyone in the party enjoyed their meals, it felt that with just a few tweaks, everything could be taken to the next level.
We sat on a circular table as a party of six but its position meant that servers had to constantly reach over diners plates to deliver and clear dishes.
The wine list was good and priced reasonably. I recommend the Primitivo.

Best restaurant in the Midlands. Personal favourites are the master chef beef and peas in pancetta. Good atmosphere. I love having a cocktail in the bar area and ordering food before being taken through to the restaurant. This really adds to the experience. Delightful array of wines to choose from.
