“For such a tiny village this shop is like Doctor Who's Tardis (bigger on the inside). Went in today to check it out as I moved nearby. The shop MUCH BIGGER than it looks from the outside. Everything from pet food, to stationary, and frozen goods, to medical supplies. It has it all. Everything seems decently priced, and staff are kind and welcoming. Highly recommend for those living around Thornton.”

“This is an absolute gem of a pub! There's always a friendly face behind the bar and the locals are really friendly. The pub itself is warm and welcoming, and there's a great garden behind the large carpark. The selection of drinks is good, the menu is great and the prices are reasonable. There's also plenty of entertainment to keep everyone entertained. Would definitely recommend.”

“For all your everyday grocery/drinks needs at fantastic prices permanently and the best Post Office for miles around there is only one place to go in the Coalville and surrounding area and that's Metro (used to be called NISA) in Marlborough Square. The staff are the most helpful and cheerful you'll find anywhere!”
