Shocking customer service. Nothing in place for manual trading. Don't place an order through this company because even if you've paid you won't be able to get your item if the systems are down. God forbid they actually use their brains!!

Small Argos store with limited stock. Hard to find popular items, but when they have something in stock, the service is fast and efficient. Be prepared to substitute items if looking for a percific topics, order online, or check online to see if they have the item you're looking for to avoid disappointment.

I Went to return a childrens car seat that my partner purchased, my partner had unfortunately lost the receipt but I was able to provide evidence via bank statement which complies with the Argos returns policy. The store manager made me feel extremely uncomfortable and as though I was an utter inconvenience for trying to request a return without a receipt and via my partners payment method. She was openly huffing and ranting whilst in front of me. They finally managed to find the transaction as this was placed at a different store but she demonstrated that she was very clearly put out by having to ring them. When speaking to me she tried to speak down to me in a belittling and condescending way, I pointed this out to her to which she gave me an insincere apology and made a hand gesture as though to get me to stop talking so she could carry on with what she was doing. I have never experienced such poor customer service, she clearly doesn?t like people or her position and in my opinion she shouldn?t be in a customer facing role. She was extremely rude and I won?t be going back to this store again. The disappointing thing is, my partner had the exact same experience with the same lady months earlier! Disappointed and angry is an understatement.
