What an absolute gem of an Indian restaurant, superb food and amazing service by Maz and his team.We traveled from the other side of Nottingham, this was our favorite go to Indian restaurant but due to the long journey time it is not always possible, however this will be changing, we were greeted by Maz like old friends and we ordered the full three courses with drinks and coffee. We ate everything on the plate the food was delicious, I can't remember the last time we enjoyed a meal so much, we talked about it all the way home and we are not easy to please.It's rare to get such attention to detail in presentation but we were very impressed.We will be back very soon thanks Maz for your first class food and hospitality.Jaz and Michaela

Order delivered takeaways regularly and have never had an issue...always early, efficient service, tasty food! But last night it was the best one yet. I don't know what you did differently. Had our regular order of a vindaloo with keema rice, lamb bhuna and mushroom rice. Both me and my wife agreed something had changed. It was the best one yet. It tasted absolutely phenomenal. Keep up the great work!

First time visiting this lovely restaurant. I have a peanut allergy and so trying a new Indian restaurant is quite a scary thing as they usually use nut oils to cook in,I was reassured that things are kept separate and indeed I didn't have any reaction. The food was absolutely delicious.all really fresh. The service was really nice and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Also the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

They remember us from before the lockdown and treated us like long lost friends. the food was excellent will be regular visitors again. highly recommend.

Honnestly worst Indian I have ever ordered from I wouldn't rate it a star, the rice was dry. There was so much oil I could have re cooked a fresh and better Indian myself using the excess oil, the chicken tikka tasted more like a korma I will not be eating here again

Not so much at this place than having a delivery from here , pre ordered at 1630 delivered at 1930 with the excuse soz driver down , food was luke warm but if delivered on time probably would have been worth the 35 pounds worth I paid but as it was serious waste of money for me WILL NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN

We couldn't recommend this place enough, great food, amazing staff and it's our go to Indian. We drive for 25 minutes to collect a curry from here!

We were visiting Bottesford from the Southeast, hoped the previous review about cooking from a book was slightly harsh and decided to give the India Spice a go - possibly the worst ?curry? I have ever tasted. Or rather, not tasted - that is the problem, the food is not reminiscent of any Indian curry I have ever eaten. It?s more akin to a packet of Uncle Ben?s rice with some sort of bland sauce covering it. I have genuinely made better curries myself. This restaurant makes the supermarket?s own brand curry offerings look 5 star. Save your money and instead, take a short drive to Grantham where there are authentic Indian restaurants.

Wow we missed this place we haven't been for a while because of virus we just stopped going out much, we will certainly go back soon fabulous service nice welcome ,lovely tasty food we couldn't fault it thankyou source India you made my birthday very special
