A truly outstanding meal.
First we shared the pork belly bites which were really moist with a subtle asian sauce.
Then my wife had the baked cod which she said was amazing - moist and tasty. I had the lamb rump which was tender (and quite rare which I like) with dauphinoise potatoes and asparagus with a really nice rosemary flavoured jus - fantastic fresh flavours.
After the desserts, they offered some interesting after dinner cocktails including a Baby Guiness (Kahlua topped with Bailey's) for a very reasonable £4.
The staff were all friendly and attentive.
The music was laid back and not too loud.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Top notch as always. Mark, Kathryn and all the team were fantastic and welcoming. I?ve been coming for years and I?ve always had a great experience. The atmosphere is great and it?s a lovey place to be. Would highly recommend!

Area and venue itself if nice, staff were all lovely and welcoming however I really didn't rate the roast. It was plenty of food (the buttered veg was decent) and cooked okay however the flavours really lacked and I was surprised as it looked like it would be so good. Starters and wine were great though! Keen to try the other non-roast food they have on offer.

One of my favourite pubs! An absolutely lovely place for a Sunday roast. We have been here multiple times now and I really couldn?t recommend it more! Really delicious food! We will be back soon.
