We read the excellent reviews and did a walk-in on Quiz night. Thanks to Cecil who had a table booked, we were invited to sit at his table and trust the system to not interrupt his night. We ordered, waited only minutes and had the best English pub meal of our 7 week trip from Australia so far. Impeccable service and wonderful food cooked with evident passion. Well done team....you are The Dogs!

We came for Sunday lunch and so impressed with the food and service. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful from start to finish and a special thanks to Chloe who served us throughout.
The food was just lovely, we had the two course option and the roast lamb was delicious as were the desserts. We will definitely be coming again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Soar Bridge Inn. I am currently staying in Barrow, visiting from the US, and this is my second visit to this great pub. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is fresh, home-cooked and delicious, and great value for money too. I highly recommend it and will definitely be visiting again.

Had my mums Wake here. It was a beautiful function room and the food was amazing. Even the food requested for two gluten free meals was amazing and very enjoyable. Thank you for making it a perfect event, everyone enjoyed it.

I won?t to take the extra bit to say out of all pubs the bridge is the best place to visit for food drink and atmosphere flow and team go out there way to make you feel so special 10 star review is needed as a pro boxer I have been some super restaurants in past but this beats all the other villages
