Istanbul accommodated a party of 22 for my family today. The occasion was a tombstone unveiling for my Mum, who loved Turkish food. Her nearest and dearest where there and all agreed, she would've loved it. Everything was on point. We thank you for you service, and as far as the food goes, what's better than number 1? We'll be back for sure.

Perfect little spot for some Turkish food. Food is cooked over charcoal and tastes great. Te mixed grills are perfect, great portions and quality.
The calamari was very nice, recommend that as a starter.
Service couldn't have been better!

After a busy day helping at a show and finding this the only place serving food on a Sunday at 8pm we were prepared to be disappointed, however the opposite was true, the food was excellent and good portions washed down with lager from the Coop opposite, good service and reasonable priced too.

Total rip off.
Went for the sharer plate for 4. Starters were ok but not enough breads were served. Had to ask for more and was charged extra! Absolute disgrace.
The sharer. More rice than anything else. Chicken wings and just 4 small kofta pieces. 4 ribs. That was it.
Then. The nerve to charge £2.50 for a small bottle of water.
An absolute rip off in every sense. I will never return and i do not recommend.

Came for lunch today. Wanted outside table but was too windy
We moved into the restaurant to table for 2. My wife joins us later and we have moved outside again. Did not realised we are creating this huge issue for member of staff/manager?dont knowm he walked out to our table shouting in front of full restaurant that we have to decide where we wanna sit. We believed it was a joke to realised he is actaully angry. Never coming back. Food was great but not worth it to get shout at. Thank you never more.

Freshly cooked higher end kebabs barbequed in front of you on coals. I had the spicy chicken wrap with salad (£7.50) and enjoyed the spice levels as well as the flavor of the bbq'd chicken. They have seating at the back and outside too.

Would have scored more except for after seeing the young girl with the long ponytail touching her face putting her thumb up the edge of the inside of her nose and then handling all the rice pot and her thumb which she had up her nose was inside the rice pot lid that put me off the whole lot and if i had known the hygiene was this bad i wouldnt have eaten there and just left. because of that I give them a one. in sitting in the restaurants watching the staff all the girls touch in their face scratching there hair and then handleing the food I've not seen one of them wash their hands before any of this as some of them didnt leave the cooking part. We had to ask what happened to one of our starters as it got forgotten and the staff don't really come and make sure everything's okay too much when you're eating they're more interested in hanging around the till and cooking area.
What's the point t in wearing a blue glove to take it off and put the same one back on with dirty hands ?
Food was nice chill sauce needs to be a bit hotter.

We have been renting a cottage here in Barrow and decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway for supper.
We ordered humus, cacik and olives for starters and Istanbul Special for 2 for mains. Delivered promptly by a very courteous chap.
The food was utterly delicious. We enjoyed every mouthful.
What a pity we are only staying a couple of nights. Otherwise, we would be ordering again.
Highly recommended and enjoyable.
