Visited this restaurant with friends for the first time and firstly was amazed by how busy it was for a Monday evening! The food was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. Staff were lovely and friendly. Thank you for a lovely night. We’ll be back.

This is a late shout out for a great Italian restaurant, which is family run. The menu caters for a variety of continental dishes, with vegan options. However, Sunday is my favorite time to visit, as they have a delicious English Sunday Roast, with a selection of Beef, Pork, Chicken or Lamb, there is a fish and vegan option with a variety of vegetables, including roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding, also Cauliflower Cheese and copious amounts of gravy. It is reasonably priced with an option of one, two or three courses. However for my wife and I, the "piece de resistance" is the Sticky Toffee Pudding, it is our favorite whenever we eat out, but we have never found one to equal Zamanis. The waiting staff are very friendly and efficient, there may be some wait between courses, which is acceptable as everything is prepared fresh. We live in the USA and we can not wait until our next holiday.

A friend and I arrived without booking and the staff were very accommodating, we had to depart by 7.30, but arriving at 6.15 gave us plenty of time.
I had king prawn and chorizo penne which was really good. Followed by cheese cake accompanied by a glass of fizz.
Really good food and very good service.

Great place with lovely food. Saturday night felt like party night... but it could be more cosy other nights. Wide variety of well cooked and presented foods. Friendly happy service.

Zamanis is part of the fabric that is Ashby. Great value dining with an ever changing, interesting menu, it always surprises and never disappoints.
Highly recommended.
