I'm really sorry to give a poor review. But we went here on the strength of the Google Reviews. Something must have changed. The blackboard mustard chicken was bland. Jacket potato seemed microwaved?

Had the most enjoyable lunch. We chose the Camembert to share, we have had loads of camemberts as it is one of my favourites, but I have never ever tasted one this good. We had a glass of Chardonnay to go with it and the wine was exceptional as were the people who work there. Cannot find one fault and shall definitely be returning. Thank you for such an exceptional lovely lunch and afternoon x

Wonderful place for a drink and bite to eat. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a fantastic and impressive range of drinks (alcohol and coffee) - service was impeccable. Would highly recommend! ?

Good menu, great atmosphere but very small portions. We had the sharing platter at £21.34. Very tasty good quality but left hungry

An accidental find as we were desperate for a coffee and it was the nearest one to the car park. You could find the 'olde-world' look a little off putting, but coffee was great and the coffee and walnit cake very good indeed - it actually had little chinks of walnut in it - very rare, but welcome. Service excellent and not expensive. Looks like it's worth visiting for meals and wines !

Great cakes and quiet secluded garden. Lovely staff and the owners are very helpful with a fantastic selection of gins, whiskies and wines.
