Had Coffee and sandwich in blend today at lunch time .
The staff ( females ) behind the counter were looking at a video on Facebook laughing at and making unkind comments about a local woman ( who?s name they used for everyone to hear ) I personally know this lady and have informed her of this.
I do believe this to be unacceptable and they should be reprimanded.

This place is a joke. Currently this coffee shop is adjoining the Papa john pizza and the Papa john staff handle the small coffee stall. The other day we orders 2 coffees and if m not wrong it was the manager of papa john pizza who was taking orders and making coffee. He was extremely rude and made a crap coffee. He didnt even know what is mocha coffee. On asking for extra sugar he was getting offended as if why we?re asking extra sugar. Horrible place selling crap. Dont waste your money. Better go to spar next door which is cheaper and reliable.
And be careful with the Bald Papa john manager.

The place is lovely and staff were nice but 35p for a takeaway cup is insane. Made out of paper and being punished.

Cottage
Clean, but not immaculate. We were in an older property (Poppy) that is definitely showing signs of wear and tear but then it was also the cheapest property. First day we didn't have hot water. They couldnt get it fixed the first night or the morning of the next day. So we got moved to a Sapphire. They gave us the keys but when we got there it wasn't ready. We did eventually get in, and it was significantly nicer than the Poppy although not perfect. We had a flickering light in the bathroom but by this point we couldn't face complaining again.
Pool
Not very clean, all just a bit run down. Quite small but they were limiting the number of people going in so it wasn't over crowded. Couple of slides and a themed water play area for the kids. Just about acceptable but nothing to get excited about.
Activities
Limited offerings as we went out of "peak" season. Wasn't well advertised before we booked that there wouldn't be much on offer. When we got there , the screen in reception said there was various things available but when we asked they weren't on. We did archery which was really good fun, I would recommend this. We hired bikes which for £5 an hour I thought was good value. We cycled the Woodland Trail, there and back, which took just under an hour. A few bumpy bits but not too challenging. There were loads of children's play parks around the site which was actually one of the main plus points. Adults avoid the zip wire though, it's not made for our weight and I found that out the hard way! Arcades were small, nothing much else to say.
Entertainment
Let's face it, most of the evening entertainment at these places feels the same, whether it's Haven, Butlins or Ribby Hall. We experienced the
"animal madness fun time"- definitely aimed at the under 5s
cash bingo - it is what it is but I will say the prizes were very good (£150 cash for house)
"pop rewind" - not terrible
"Live cabaret" - indiscernable from pop rewind, same people singing
"Songs from stage and screen" - still the same singers but deffo the best show of the week
Food offerings
We went to the nearby Aldi which was a 10min drive for all the basics. Spar on site wasn't cheap but not super expensive either, okay for emergencies. We ate at the Hive. The food was fine, relatively big portions, but very expensive for what it was. I wouldn't recommend it. We also had coffee and cake at Blend which was nice enough but quite expensive again.
Overall
A bit of a disappointment and probably wouldn't come back. Have heard it compared to Centre Parcs before and I can see that's what they're aiming for but it just doesn't hit the mark for me.

Charged £4 for a can of coke and two small milky way bars. I was shocked and expected it to be less than half that. No issues with service and clean cafe.

Me and my sister went to study here yesterday, great atmosphere! The main thing I wanted to point out was how amazing one of the severs was. A lovely cheery man greeted us upon entry and just seemed to be super positive and lovely to everyone (even when scrubbing the floors!) Thankyou very much

We go in here every week the staff are very friendly and will help you with anything can't understand the bad reviews people have put we have never encountered any of the things some people have put and we have been going in for years

Probably the most expensive coffee shop north of London. The coffee and food are both nice but it's just standard coffee chain offerings, nothing different, just ridiculous prices.

We call when passing , about 4-5 times a week and the service is amazing, hence why we keep returning. Miles better than Starbucks and Costa. Yeah a little pricey at times but you pay for what you get.

Had a terrible flat white here today. Drank a little and then binned it.
Pain au choc was fine but mediocre

I think it's a lovely place, i'll come back. It's a sunday late afternoon, not too busy. We had a decaf mocha and cappuccino.

We spent a fantastic 4 nights here. The cottage we stayed in was clean, spacious and equipped with all the essentials needed. We had a lovely area to sit outside and my son to play and the ducks visited us each morning. It was within walking distance to all the activities.
My 6 year old son had an absolute fantastic time, there was so much for him to do. Swimming was definitely the highlight for him, the pool is great with different slides for all ages. He really developed his confidence in the water. He also loved the climbing wall, the staff great with him. There are a number of play parks suitable for all ages which he really enjoyed. The boats are a great activity and the woodland walk is a lovely walk with a trim trail if you fancy a go.
The village itself is really well maintained and all the staff we dealt with was helpful and friendly. Thanks Ribby Hall for a fantastic holiday and helping us create memories as a family. We cant wait to return next year.

Really nice coffee here. The cost is absolutely no different to any major chain. Ultimately they all feel overpriced, but it is what it is now so can't get at one shop for that. Opens nice and early to get coffee first thing.

I visit here at least twice a week and have done for maybe 8 years now. It?s a great place for a brew whilst working, or to bring the children and have some cake or in passing on a walk. Love it ?
