We recently stayed here with our small dog. The rooms are clean with nice facilities. The bar/restaurant was lovely, with a good choice of meals. All the staff were friendly and accommodating... nothing was too much trouble. Very chilled, easy going place. Would definitely stay again ?

Came for a work lunch last week and we were the only customers at the beginning but picked up. Pleasant environment and dog friendly. Unfortunately the lady didn't let us look at the link menu that includes set drinks before asking for the drinks order so some missed out on the good deal. Food was tasty.

Just had an 11 day holiday with our caravan. The 5 pitches are all hard standing with water and hook up to each pitch. There are another 7 pitches but for some unknown reason the hook up cable will not enter the electric sockets (The sockets are too big) again on hard standing with water to each pitch. There are toilets and a shower in the pub and are available from 8am whilst the pub is open, these are accessed via a small gate from the caravan site to the pub. The pub which serves good wholesome meals is always busy so it is advisable to book if you want to dine. It has a sunny beer garden with swings etc for young children and if wet there are a number of tables under cover in the beer garden. A 7 minute walk will take you to bus stops, Lytham and St Anne's one way and Poulton, Cleveleys and Blackpool the other way. Lidl Aldi MacDonalds and a fuel Garage are a 1.7 mile drive away. Being in a rural position the site is quiet, and is easily accessed from the new junction 2 of the M55. At £15 a night and £20 at weekends we will return.

Nice hotel located quite close to the M55 motorway. We drove directly here so not sure what's in the local area. The hotel is attached to a lovely pub, so everything you need for the evening on your doorstep. The pub has a lovely area inside with lots of seating and a really large beer garden if the sun is out.
The room was a decent size, tea and coffee making facilities, very comfy bed. It's in a rural location so our room was very quiet, with no road noise.
Lots of parking all free, which was great for us as we have quite a large van.
We had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay again

My parents moved to warton 4 years ago and myself and my partner walk the dog past the Birley Arms every time we visit but have just never got round to going in even though we talk about it every time we are here.
Last night, after years of building ourselves up to the moment, we decided to pay a visit for a quick post work pint - and we are so pleased we did!
The pub had a lovely cosy feel inside, friendly and helpful staff and a huge beer garden. I asked to have a look at a menu just to browse but couldn?t resist and we got a couple of bar snacks - absolutely delicious! I actually said to my partner the chicken strips were nicer than KFCs own!
For 4 years we?ve been going into lytham for a Friday drink when staying at my mums but in future we?ll be taking a leisurely 10 min stroll to the Birley Arms!

I can't recommend eating here if you have any specific dietary requirements. I informed the waitress of my dietary requirements and chose items from the menu that specified they met my requirements. However, when the food arrived two items on the plate weren't edible for me and did not meet the specification of the menu. I politely asked about these items and they were quietly scraped off the plate and I was charged full price for an incomplete meal. It's a good job that there were no allergies to be concerned about because I am not confident that the chef can cope with customers' specific dietary needs. It's a risk that customers should not have to take.

Stayed for 3 nights in May. It's a lovely place & couldn't fault anything. The room was clean, comfortable bed & powerful shower. Plenty of tea, coffee etc. All staff were friendly, helpful & efficient. The food was delicious & generous sized portions. We had breakfast & dinner there for the duration of our stay. We visited Lytham, St Anne's & Fleetwood, beautiful areas.
