I felt that my personal reasons for a contact lense trial was acknowledged and listened to. Steph was amazing, patient and very methodical in her approach when conducting the teach session of the insertion and extraction of the lenses. I will be more than happy to see Steph again for advice.

Had a recent visit here for an eye test and to choose new glasses and a second visit to pick them up.
On both occasions I was seen immediately, the eye test was very thorough and explained to me throughout.
I received help choosing new frames and the person I saw took time to fully explain the different varifocal lenses that were available.
On return to pick up my glasses they were fully checked that they were suitable and a clear explanation of how to look through the lenses for optimum vision.
I?d highly recommend anyone to visit Specsavers in Skelmersdale.

What is the point of booking an appointment - to get there and a huge queue. Especially after calling and messaging me several times. Shocking service and the staff couldn?t care less !!!!!!?

The staff at our branch in Skelmersdale are fantastic, so friendly helpful and professional
The optician is exceptionally good and I after 30 years of specialist eye care should know one of the best, so Thank-you
But to be fair the rest of the staff are so good at their jobs it was a pleasure

Excellent professional helpful service from a dedicated team of opticians, I would fully 100% recommended them to anyone thinking of getting an eye test and looking for new glasses, there are a vast array of lenses and frame styles to choose from with very helpful staff that will help you make the right choice that is suitable for your needs.

I would offer a no-star review after the rudeness and embarrassment I felt after the member of staff dealt with me. After reading the reviews on here, it seems to be a regular occurance that customers leave the store feeling the way I did. I have been a customer to this branch in the concourse, Skelmersdale for over 20 years, and now I will be spending my hard-earned money with a company who appreciates and respects it's customers.

Went in for Annual eye test, didnt need to wait long. Optician was very professional, explained the changes in my sight, picked new glasses,paid for them, waited 7/10 days, got them the girl checked the fitting everything was great, would seriously recommend the team wouldnt go anywhere else. we have been going there for 13 years now never had an issue. Well done to all the team and Merry Xmas to you all and best wishes for 2025 xx
