Low quality service at high end price!You might expect to wait over an hour after your appointment time in places like this, you'd probably even expect a rushed, half hearted job as they get through as many customers as possible! They've got to make their money after all!What you don't expect is to pay the same price as a high end spa!I could've got more for my money at Springwoods spa in rainford. And I wouldn't have left with sore cuticles and acrylic blobs under my nails.Honestly, I did expect to have to do a little reshaping and cleaning up when I got home but I thought at least I'd be saving some money! Nope! £33 for just acrylic, no polish. I could've got a French manicure included for that price at Springwoods!

I have had a brilliant experience today! I brought a reference picture in and she set to work right away! My nails are absolutely BEAUTIFUL ?Customer service was brilliant, they were both so friendly and super efficient, I will definitely be returning next time I need my nails done! AVOID this place.Went for a full set a few months ago and charged me 38 pounds for a very basic set which is more expensive than other places. Nails terrible all different shapes and very thick.Tried them again just for gel nails as surely gel nails are pretty basic and simple to do? Well the gel is peeling off literally every single finger and I had them done two days ago. By far the worst place I?ve ever had my nails done?.

Not at all impressed. I've had acrylic nails hundreds of times and used to have them constantly. I decided to get my nails done as a treat cos with the pandemic and losing my job during the madness, I haven't been in a position to do it for a while, but now we're both back on our feet I figured I'd try this place out. Big mistake.I k ow its currently more fashionable to have pointed nails, but ive never liked them for myself, so I asked for squarely rounded nails, I've had them many many times and every nail tech I've ever been to in the last 25 years knows exactly what I mean. Not this time though, he did my pinky and it looked fine, but when it came to the rest, they were big square slabs of acrylic on each nail with sharp pointed corners.Now I don't know about you, but I'm the worst at telling people I don't like things, bad food in a restaurant, bad hair cut and bad nails are all the same, which I am the first to admit does not give them the chance to correct anything and leaves them without the knowledge I'm even unhappy, so I accept I should have and could have said I wasn't happy with the result way before the polish was applied and I didn't.So yes I left with square nails that look anything but feminine. I think what really pushed me over the edge and encouraged me to leave this review was that 3 of the nails are completely lobsided to the extent that theyake my finger look wonky and it all cost £38. Which to me and my experience, is quite expensive for a fresh set of nails. I must add that I did choose a nail varnish that charged extra, so it would've been £33, but I came home and spent half an hour reshaping them myself in an attempt to get them to look less of a mess and so I can manage to live with them until I can afford to go somewhere else and get them redone.I don't know anyone else who has been here and I do hope they have had better results, but I won't be going back.

I Visited Diamond Nails for the first and last time todaythe Nail Tech was wearing an apron exclaiming"This is what a totally awesome Nail Technician, Looks Like"I asked for my nails to be shortened and for infills.the Awesome Nail tech, was quite rough with my hands during colour removal and preparation,they seemed to be having a lot of problems with the Acrylic Infill material,repeatedly loading the brush and wasting it onto the tissue, occasionally they would put some acrylic on one of my nails and immediately wipe it off again,After they had completed the infill with acrylic, they seemed to struggle understanding that I wanted my nails shortening... several times I had to ask them to take more off...after I chose a colour from the samples they gave me, they advised that the colour I had chosen would be £8.00 dearer... then after getting the go ahead, they claimed there was insufficient colour to do my nails.so I chose another colour.during application, the nail tech twice reached for the grinder and ground something off, over the liquid colour coat.the moment they finished, they turned the light off. not giving me time to view my nailsI tried to use my phone torch but was unsuccessful.I felt my nails and the left hand nails in particular felt rough on the surface. the nail tech lightly buffed two of the nails, and re clear coated them.they didn't do anything to the remaining nails...they stood up, took their apron off, and moved away from the work station... signalling that they had finished.the results...poor shaping on a number of nails, poor gloss on several nails, with dust particles trapped in the varnish.I will be looking for a different nail salon, in the future.Dissapointedly, Joan.
